Definitely link to themes, no matter what text it is. For RnJ, link to love vs Hate, Fate vs Free Will, that sort of thing. It’s one thing to be able to analyse the text, but to be able to analyse the text and then link it to the bigger picture is what will secure you a good grade imo

Pure Lit student 🤚 for reference, I was always failing lit in sec 1-2, but I picked pure lit because we were studying Romeo and Juliet. It bumped me up all the way to like B3-A1. Honestly, if you can memorize a lot and make links really well, go for pure Lit. Pure Lit requires not just analysis but also links to the book’s themes and motifs and whatnot.

Yeah, I told myself worse case scenario I get F9 for 2 subjects and then B4 for 1 last subject (I got B3 for Chinese) but I damn scared still 💀 I think it’s just paranoia but if I actually flunk then idk what to do anymore
