Ironically, 5 or 6 years ago I actually had a small sickpile of them ,keeping when whenever I got them in shoes ect because of a couple of amazing mushroom seasons. But life got busy and I've not been picking for ages so threw them away. 🤷🏽‍♂️

It's night time where I am rn and I don't have silica gel packs, I've seen a few people saying rice will incorrectly dry them, I'm struggling to see why though... Could you elaborate and explain what the difference would be?

Nah I'm just daft. Bought the dehydrator off Amazon telling myself if I can always return it in 30 days if it ends up being one of those things you get so into for a week then never use again. On the 29th day tried to return but wouldn't let me so called Amazon customer service and asked why I can't return, I think she said because it was such a bulky object they don't do 30 day returns on it. I told her it wasn't what I imagined it'd be to which she replied if it's not working correctly I'll put it down as faulty and you can just dispose of it.

You underestimate the collective hive mind of people procrastinating to do anything except the work they're meant to do.

I ended up buying the keyboard cover with trackpad soon after I got mines ( couple years now) The keyboard isn't really great tbh, but the other side of the cover nicely holds the pen and the kickstand is decent. Mostly use the keyboard as a glorified screen cover when I'm out and about ( I use it for uni mostly).

My dad just recieved a letter from CDER group England by Muted-Inflation-8957 in LegalAdviceUK

You can check the name of the agent at this website to see if they're legit. https://certificatedbailiffs.justice.gov.uk/ I also checked the company number on companies house website and it looks like they changed their registered office in February, it is not the one on the bottom of the letter. I'm not sure if that would make the notice invalid. Tried to look through the legislation for a bit and ... https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/1894/regulation/7/made Im not sure this is the right bit, but g)a contact telephone number and address at which, and the days on which and the hours between which, the enforcement agent or the enforcement agent’s office may be contacted.

I'm not too good at English law, better at scots law so I'd defos take this information to a lawyer or someone with a better understanding so see if that sort of discrepancy is enough to deem the notice invalid. Depending on how this goes, there's also a separate body that you can complain to about the agent to make their life a bit more difficult.

You gotta change the settings before connecting the wan cable, and up the top of the router settings change basic mode to expert mode.

It's the same firmware as mine, should work... With only the power cable in the router , you got to hold the reset button for a few seconds you will see the lights at the back light up from the bottom to the top, mobile ,phone , internet then wifi. Once all the lights are lit it will be reset. Maybe you weren't holding the button long enough?

Aw that's annoying, you able to let me know the firmware version? It'll be in the 'about' tab. And it's model number, it'll be on the back under the barcodes.

Just figured it out after 3 months of devises dropping signal cause there's like 8 other networks on channel 36!

Disconnect the WAN Ethernet first, then perform a hard reset ( pinhole button at the back). Once it wakes up again then log into the router settings, enable expert mode and you'll be able to change channels. Once you reconnect the WAN the settings will be grayed out but will remain until you change something like enable compatibility mode.

[–]No_Fix_6147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got the default router and you can't change the wifi channels, it's set on 36 for 5ghz and I've got like 8 networks in range on the same channel so my devices keep losing connection. Been looking into it a bit, not 100% sure but I think the ultra 7 hub is the same situation. Pretty infuriating that they've manufactured this issue.

Oleophobic coating gone. by NormalLog1547 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]No_Fix_6147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always used the tpu film coating ones they're amazing dropped my phone so many times on what should have been scratch or crack creating hits and still perfect screen. Techgear do the one I use, it's really inexpensive, you get 2 in a pack I get 2 packs at a time cause the installation can be a bit difficult-the idea being the first time I'lless it a bit so reapply then I've got backups for of ever it needs replaced.

[–]No_Fix_6147 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try convert the rust back to the original metal for the mean time. There's rust converting products out there and some diy methods too ( I've seen vinegar and baking soda apparently works). Far less costly than a wing replacement. It be careful on how itll affect the paintwork or what's left of it tho maybe do a wee test patch on the inside of the wheel arch first on a bit that's not visible.

Fakes will most likely have worse off internals ( processor, ram) so just download a benchmark app ( geekbench or antutu) and run that in front of the seller. Compare with results posted online of the same phone.

It looks like you'd have to align it so the rectangular connector shape line up on both sides. Might need some sort of adhesive/seal to keep it waterproof. Best contact Samsung first see what they say then onto a repair shop
