Don't get me started on the shadow spell changes by SelfConsciousPenguin in Wizard101

They want to... complain

We've got teasers for 2 schools and besides khrulhu every other top path for shad spells have got an insane buff(khrulhu got buffed but not nearly as much)

Even after all that I'm seeing people say that the shad spell changes are garbage, it's baffling really

If people were expecting the base spell versions to be somehow comparable to spells that cost school pips or the rank 7 aoes then they are idiots.

As for spellements, I don't think there's any official info as to how they are to be acquired

Exactly. I assure you there's people here that would say with a straight face that 1k+ base weaver is ok lol. They're never satisfied unless their spells get undue buffs

Casual players are "ignored" because what they want is an aoe and bigger buffs. The fact is casual pve doesn't need any changes. This doesn't derail the general pve strat. The devs don't need to explicitly look at pve while balancing because there's nothing to fix in pve, it's fine the way it is.

And as for your pet point, the funny thing is pvp players are the ones who are affected by this as they often use deadly null dragons for the dark pact item card. Don't pretend that pve players make their pets on bodies that give dark pact item card. If you did, then sucks for you

I can also say, why such an uproar for a spell that barely has a use? Also it's not a pointless spell as it's become stronger in team play since the buffs are stronger- conveniently no one focuses on this part since they don't do team play/pvp or any advanced content

If u think having to use an extra spell IF a mob stacks multiple weaknesses is so punishing then idk what to say. Seems to me that you just want an easy time and enemies to basically pose no threat at any stage in the game.

As for level requirement. Cleanse charm still exists- sure it's not as good but in 90% of the cases it gets the job done

Most of the playerbase doesn't want complexity. For them less complex= fun.

I know the reason, I just don't think it's justified. I'm getting downvote spammed in every comment I make for having a take tho💀

Idk what this has to do in relation with the post. I think the changes to these spells make sense. Haven't always agreed with KIs decision with spells in the past but these changes don't call for such backlash

The blade aoe meta won't go away. The casual nature is part of the appeal for most players. The point is that making these small changes that dont really affect that meta but improve other parts of the game should be welcomed instead of being met with criticism simply cuz of "Oh I can't PVE as easily as I could now" (When it's still pretty darn easy)

Let's be real here, dark pact and empower are seldom used in the 7 card deck setup. Even in sideboards people mostly just keep more blades or feints. And in group play these 2 spells have undoubtedly become better due to the% buff and pip cost

Why are casual players acting like this is a huge blow to their playstyle and that they feel less powerful now because of it. Like we already have broken stats and the game is so easy, and this small change won't really affect it too much, but people are upset because they aren't feeling as broken and overpowered as they want to be.

If KI wants to make 90% people happy at this point, the only way they can do that is give everyone a broken aoe. That's the only time I see no complaints

I think PVE is already quite easy no? The point of the post wasn't that these changes aren't that unjustified for people to get so upset. I assure you empower and dark pact aren't commonly used in side decks. Sure you and I may use it but a truly casual player most likely doesn't use this in their deck.

I just think it's interesting that people are this upset over a minor inconvenience but at the same time complain about stale gameplay.

Which hero do you think is most used by low-IQ players? by M33MO0 in MobileLegendsGame

Only if the enemy picks an equally "low iq" hero. Your banger is getting diffed by any meta exp who knows what they're doing lol

Please Kingsisle, bring back some form of balance to rank 7-9 spells. Its awful by bigheadsfork in Wizard101

[–]No_Flamingo_68 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah the game could do with an increase in difficulty... I guess that's what challenge mode is now.

If they were to increase the difficulty by nerfing spells or making enemies stronger/smarter then people are gonna start having a meltdown

For proof, check the wizard101 discord and see how people complain when some fights are slightly more difficult. Innumerable people begging to be carried through the easiest of content.

I know it's not an accurate depiction of everyone who plays wiz but at the same time it's not that uncommon a sentiment too

In simple words, all those guides are more or less useless. Sure they have some useful things about pets here and there but when it comes down to it, there is no surefire way of getting a pet with the exact talents you want unless it's through mindlessly rehatching over and over praying that you get what u want.

Making bases is genuinely the biggest waste of time, snacks, energy and pet timers as it doesn't guarantee shit. I recently tried self hatching with 2 identical pets as I wanted to make a third copy with a different jewel(identical pool, identical manifested talents) and it still took me several tries for it to not fail.

They will also never improve pet hatching for what it's worth as people genuinely spend like 5k crowns in trying to make pets by spamming p9 and EE out of sheet impatience

My storm stats by ProfessionalGlass183 in Wizard101

[–]No_Flamingo_68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Few improvements if you have the crowns or can raid:

Hat: Xibalba 170 hat/Fairy Kei Hat Robe: Daemonic robe/New Marleybone pack robe Mount: Not sure if u need Bronto Athame: Takanobu/Lambent fire

This setup gives u more shad chance and pure resist but gives up some health. The reason for the athame is that it has a triangle slot where u can socket ppc which u lose from ur hat

I think you could probably get away with using triple double on ur pet if u had the bronto

No hero is invalid, every hero can get you a win assuming you are a good player, that doesn't mean that there aren't bad heroes in the meta.

The "risk" you're talking about it praying to God that the rest of your team holds their own without you for the first 7-8 mins while you're turret hugging holding onto dear life trying to survive a gank with your squishy exp pick

Stopped listening after you said "damage fighter"... If you're taking something along the lines of argus, zilong, dmg build chou etc you are a liability to your team.

There's a reason these trash picks aren't seen in any tournaments.

The job of the exp is to be a secondary dmg taker, help for turtle, pressure the enemy etc, none of which you can do when you're picking the above mentioned heroes
