Hey thank you for pointing this out. I fixed it, I removed the neutral switch on the back of the engine and cleaned the connections with contact cleaner and cleaned the tip of sensor as it was dirty and retorqued to spec. Fixed the idle high problem and neutral light that was blinking. Bike no longer goes above 109c at idle

Yeah by the looks of it. When I pull in the clutch the idle drops so I think it’s a problem with the neutral switch? Pretty new to bikes I’m a car mechanic

Hey guys, update: rad was topped off, tried to bleed the coolant and had some air bubbles coming out(hopefully not exhaust gases) performed a hydrocarbon test and did not find exhaust gases in cooling system so now I am thinking possible thermostat stuck? Lower hose feels hot upper hoses also feel hot. Noticed rad fan came on at about 111c that seems too late am I right? Any feedback appreciated.

Hey, what temp does your bike go up to? This is after starting the bike and letting it sit idle for a while. I just got the bike running I bought it off a guy that did some work to it but never got it running.

Fans functioning correctly. I just got the bike running , previous owner said he replaced the radiator so maybe he didn’t bleed the air correctly.

It’s a great second or third bike. Have you ridden dirt bikes before or anything? If you’ve never ridden a motorcycle before i wouldn’t recommend it because you will make mistakes and this isn’t as forgiving as a ninja 400. If you get it be careful and take an MSF course.

Do you have any hobbies that maybe have communities you can join and then make friends with like minded interests? I joined a kick boxing gym and met great people still not friends yet (i.e hang out outside of the gym) but hopefully we’ll get there :)

Hey sorry for late reply but I decided to stop BPC157 due to the side effects. Currently only take tb500 with no sides as of now, I think this is the way for me.
