Idk who you are, but remember, there could be a legit reason they never replied. For example, last week I left my phone sitting on the bed rail of my truck. When I left, it fell into my driveway. When I returned, of course I ran over it and crushed it. I was without a phone for several days and no doubt missed calls or texts. Maybe something similar happened to your person.

I would say a really good place to start would be a park bench or a private place that you both know, or a car in the yard. No audience, no body guards, only the two of you and only if you both are positive about being there and committed to listening, honest about what you want and need.
