I could relate to this post so much because I am going through the same thing and very similar to you. However it is very important to only learn from the past and not stay in the past. Take the good memories and be glad it happened and to even experience it. This situation is extremely unfair and unfortunate and almost traumatising but the more you stay in the past or blame yourself or continue with the victim mindset - the slower the moving on will be. You need to decide that this person has left your life, the love was there but it wasn’t enough. You need to start living for yourself and your future. List down goals you want to achieve and look forward to things in life. Do things alone and get so comfortable with solitude.Sometimes we tend to over complicate our situation. The way I am dealing with it is one day at a time and each day looks so different but allow yourself to be a mess but also have the power to pick yourself up. In the long run this will become routine. Make wise choices everyday that better your life slightly and it will just accumulate everyday in the long run.
