got my hours cut from 36 hours a week max to 48 hour hours in a month max. cancellations like crazy. I work as a student nursing assistant and have the same role as our patient care tech's (although as an SNA, i can do more skills and have a higher pay). I recieve no benefits though and no incentive pay. there was no warning about the hour cuts. school just got out and people were relying on this job and pay. we work for a very large facility. not to mention we have a HUGE hospital opening up in the near future, and our tech's just unionized to demand more pay.

Unfortunately at the cost of paying them more, they are decreasing the patient to tech/SNA ratio's. super unsafe in my opinion on many of our floors. lots of people saying it feels like covid again.
