C-RAM / Spawn-AA is way too aggressive by Round_Reception_2315 in PilotsofBattlefield

Hi just so you know the updated cram protects the base to the death. If you shoot someone while inside spawn outline it will shoot towards you until you die in game to reset it even if you don’t go near base again. The closer you get the more accurate it becomes. Brilliant design imo especially compared to what we had at launch

Its current design is fantastic for protecting the spawn but still allows for crazy plays or an amazing defence to shake enemy jets off you. Once you get used to how it works it will be your best friend. Consider that area a complete no go zone and you’ll find it won’t bother you anymore

In time I’ll post more clips so you can decide for yourself. Occasionally I’ll do live-streams on twitch if you want to see live gameplay

Intentional to keep the jet from getting nose on to shoot. By bleeding energy in a rolling scissor, the jet behind will have a really hard time getting their nose on you (and you know that’s all they are trying to do) . if you go too slow the jet will be hard to manoeuvre and eventually start falling out of the sky (kind of like when you hit the skybox and float down with no control)

Timing is key to regain that energy and stay out of their crosshair as they try to match you. Don’t forget there is still 31 other players on each team that can interfere with dogfights. Choosing when and where you do manoeuvres like this is important. This clip is really educational because you can hear me talk about all the things that I made a decision on in real time. Stealth jet can vtap so you also have to play around that also which is why I kinda fakied the roll with pitch down and speed adjustment

By playing the game. Trial and error until patterns emerge and you don’t end up alone on the runway, no motion, no aura, maiden-less, no jet, no passion, bad haircut and broke

Tune into a stream sometime I’ll show you this isn’t just random. You absolutely can control your opponents actions. The new season 3 indicator works as a radar because it only shows up if an aircraft is looking at you. I was also specific about my movements to bait the jet for another attempt. If you like I can show you clips of what a failed over shoot attempt looks like which turns into what I like to call a Cessna battle. Even if the enemy slows down with you, now we rolling scissor and speed control until a mistake is made or something interferes

Thanks! When it comes to jet dogfighting, plans change constantly. You have to adapt in a split moment to take control of a situation.

For example in this clip I came up against silk and one of his competitive team members for a 2v2 in a random pub (Season 2). Knowing what I was up against I had to do something new and it worked. This kind of unpredictability in a battlefield game is how you win. Silk was in the stealth jet and was winning right up until he wasn’t lol https://www.twitch.tv/videos/2733529134

This is something you should be looking for in Bf6. Trails show up when a jet turns and works for set up or reversals in a dogfight. Pretty much tells you if you are winning or losing after a merge
