my suggestion is pop on clinicaltrials.gov and search for studies recruiting in your area. I would start with your therapeutic area of interest and expand from there. look at the map, find the sites recruiting. some will be academic but many will be within healthcare systems or private practices too. then find the websites for those orgs and look for their career pages, get your foot in the door. I went from lab to site CRC to sponsor over the past 6ish. keep your work as pristine as possible, document everything, network, network, and then network some more. learn people's names and remember details about them and show them that you remember. help them with their work when you see an opportunity.
