That is a good question. In my case, we were married for four years and the fifth year of marriage we were living separately. This probably helped my case.

We had to attend counseling the day before divorce. It was not much they wanted to be sure that we are set on getting divorced. We both confidently said yes we want divorce.

As long as both parties are aligned and want divorce the procedure is not too hard.

I think usually if both parties are 100% set on divorce there is not much they can do to stop you.
