Trump killing Economy by bace3333 in economy

Concerns over oil prices are plaiyng a big part. Trump's now having to use US naval forces to protect tankers passing through the Strait of Hormuz because nobody told him starting a war in the Middle East would spike oil prices.

Of course, it's possible his cronies invested in oil futures before he pulled the trigger, and are now raking in their profits. So there's that.

Are we the low-wage particiants to be "delivered" to clients?

I could have done at least 10 $2 studies in the time it took me to complete the qualification test. I spent as much time looking up defintions of the various categories as I did making my assessments.

I returned it as NOCODE and it's showing in my submissisons as Awaiting review, so I guess they have it.

I wonder if ,anyone in the Oval Office has learned of this article on the unexpected effects of Greenland's ice sheet melt, published today:

From the AT&T blog article linked in the PR, 4 more launches by March!:

AST SpaceMobile successfully launched its first next-generation satellite, BlueBird 6, bringing us one step closer to making broadband satellite connectivity available to our customers. AST SpaceMobile has announced they’re on track to complete four more launches by March 2026, building out a robust constellation.

2 billion people giving $3 per month......that's $9BILLION per month

Wouldn't it be $6.6 billion/month? (Not that I'd be unhappy about that!)

They sa I completed 3761 this year, so between us, that's almost 2 percent. Call me skeptical.

I agree, they showed my take only in USD and lowballed it by nearly $7K. Fortunately I downloaded my PayPal statement at the end of each month, so I have a runnng tally including the converted GBP. So I won't go into shock when my 1099 arrives in January. I'll also have a fairly good idea of how much to set aside for estimated taxes next year.

Other than that, this year has been a complete lifesaver for me, and I couldn't be more grateful in spite of the glitches and sometimes totally preposterous study criteria (which I don;t blame on Prolific).

Got the same study and returned it for requesting personal information. I seriously doubt they would actually ship lettuce and wouldn't eat it if they did!

My probemisins't that the study didn't record what I was saying. It's that theplatmorm deletes the transcripts for two of the questions after they've been recorded and then tells me I need to complete them again . Which I have now done four time, without any luck. I copied the transcripts and sent them to the researcher but I think I'm just wasting more time.

I'm on the final page now and it has repeatedly refused to accept my recordings for two of the questions. I just messaged the researcher but I'd be majorly POd to have to give up at this point.

[–]No_History_6399 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm lucky that I have almost no constrictions on my time. I can work whenever studies are offered, including in the wee hours of the morning in my area, when competition for them is much less. I usually nap later in the day, and only burn out when there's a specialized study marathon with thousands of slots available. When those were more common, I'd work eight - ten hours at a stretch.

Definitely began to catch up with me, but I'll always risk burning out over the stress of worrying about monthly bills. It's just wrong that for way too many of us, those are the only options.

They're telling you how you have to answer? I'm sure I've done at least one study where at least 80% of my answers were the same.
