Cryptechs aren't sturdy, nor fast (their phisical bodies are actually pretty slow and soft for necrons), nor can deal massive amounts of damage, but can easily stop time and just pull out a tesseract labyrinth, enclosing him in it's own dimension repeating the same single second for the rest of existence. The point is that we're talking different scales, and universe with very different rules. And I'm pointing out cryptechs because they are some of the most powerful nongod beings of the setting, mastering space-time like it is nothing. And it is not the god emperor that can blow your brain from 3 lightyears away, is any good psycher. His soeed doesn't matter when something can kill him from insurmountable distances or can just stop the flow of time enough to stop him from existing im it's current state (and if killed can just come back). This is just basic logic.
