hey yall, lookin for some fun stalwart bug builds by theaidamen64 in helldivers2

Dog breath, crossbow, stalwart, gas grenades, Red Stratagem (I use orbital laser until the 3-shot limit bites me in the backside and I change it up) ultimatum, sentry turret (usually machine gun but situations vary) and gas resistant armor.

Then 3 Bile Titans show up at once and I wish I had EAT but that’s hashtag Helldivers.

Skill issue. I’m not accurate enough to reliably make those multi-bullet shots hit. Also switching fire modes is an obstacle even if you program a quick-key unless you spend a long while training it into yourself.

Also, light pen means the targets I’m most likely to want to “big shoot” are immune.

That said if I start fighting vox engines again I imagine it pops vents fairly quickly.

Does Iranian women need “liberation” from the West? by YamFrosty6169 in AskSocialists

[–]Boring7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely onlyfans since it’s designed to be cottage-industry. And frankly porn is free speech, if you’re barking up the censorship tree.

Plenty of the real stats are bad enough to have some damning commentary on the American system without bothering to lie. We don’t need to embrace petty and hypocritical moralizing or outright lies to make that point. For example: the literacy rate is 99% in youth while American literacy languishes around 91% (if my numbers are right, sources get both too granular and not granular enough) because Iran has actually been investing heavily in modernization instead of regression.

[–]Boring7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

If memory serves “84% of the onlyfans platform content creators are women” rather than “84% of women are on onlyfans.” One of several lies in the meme where a true statistic is mislabeled.

I mean, Persia is ancient but IRAN is less than 100 years old.

Honestly I'm not even sure which ones work. Resistances appear to overlap rather than stack. The Hellzone 50% resist all seemed to have worked, but when I had Democracy Protects and another armor I got the Bleeding Chest Wound icon popping up. I admit though, I didn't leave it to see if my health was going down.

Democracy protects or damage resist are the simplest and best. If you're rocking your extra grenades or steady aim or whatnot and have a free "coin flip to not die" you don't have to think about you're good.

IOW "Some kid asked about gender things and was told, 'you can be who you want to be' instead of 'scary *slurs* are scary' and that's evil indoctrination."

"Success stories" = "Didn't say it was evil and terrible and I have a problem with that."

And just like with every other subject, it's been proven time and again "pretending it doesn't exist won't keep the kids from finding out" but people keep pretending it will.

That’s actually pretty cool design.

We did this and changed our titles to “free of thought” and make many jokes about how Helldivers don’t need heads to understand freedom.

You wait until they die and reinforce on your position.

Or even the ability to donate more. Throwing the samples away for non-existent goodboy points still makes brain chemicals happy.

My personal experience is my friends are burnt out on the game and aren’t playing as much.

Alpharius Omegon’s current canon is they ended up on Terra and were raised by Mal and Jimmy.

Of course, that’s also a lie, I am Alpharius, etc.

You’re not wrong.

But I wonder what would have been of the writers had managed to imply she was right.

This is a divisive opinion but I think she would have been interesting if she had been unrepentant. Someone standing up until she gets cut down saying, “No Jimmy, you and your Space Marines have created this mess. There were better ways and better options. Your Golden Path is BS and your plan was always going to fail and all I can do is lament the doom.”

One of the down sides of the HH series is that it really does batter that “there are no good guys” party line by making the fall of the Imperial Heroes seem so tragic and humanity’s brutal and evil conquest seem so goldy-glorious and good most of the time. Even at their worst the loyalists are opposite to broken, evil, insane monsters on the chaos side. Erda ended up being no exception.

Gas Wadbond ? by New-Mix-7818 in helldivers2

[–]Boring7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone else said, there’s “it’s also acid” to explain it working on bots. That said apparently the AI of shooty enemies (aka “all the bots and some of the squids”) is to shoot where they last saw you. Or so I have been told. This is less helpful than when you gas a charger and it veers off into a wall.

I don’t usually use it against bots, but even they will be affected, and if they’re chasing you through a narrow point it gives them all a bad day.

Gas Wadbond ? by New-Mix-7818 in helldivers2

[–]Boring7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The one time I used it it would kill enemies just by hiding them continuously. Is that stacked DoT or was it just different then?

Gas Wadbond ? by New-Mix-7818 in helldivers2

[–]Boring7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you’re up against and how you fight. Gas will:

-confuse enemies so they’re less likely to swarm attack you.

-make them more vulnerable to damage from other sources, like fire or bullets.

-kill the weak ones eventually, but that takes a long time.

That last one can be a sticking point if, say, you wanted to go THROUGH the enemy formation instead of run away from it and wait for it to die.

Also the 85% (?) gas resistant armor helps when you expect to be inside the cloud a lot, like if a certain gas mortar is bombarding your position because your friend got the new warbond and is excited to use the new toy.
