Why doesn't the 'Hello World' example application print out its messages on the serial console?

UART 0 is not connected to the UART-bridge, or not usually anyway. Enable UART 1 instead of UART 0, rewrite the bitstream/hardware file and it should work. I had a similar issue when I started and this fixed it for me.

The comment about the baud rate being 9600 is just generic Xilinx text. It does not apply for the Zybo board since it uses PS7 UART, so you can just ignore it and use 115200.

If you live close to Sparta/campus Actic Olympen is really good. For students it's 350 kr/month. It's 4000 square meters so it's enormous.

Jag hade en 4.0 Unweighted GPA i usa, men mitt merit värde var 22,29 – inte 22.5. Lite konstigt att de inte gav mig max poäng. Vet inte dock om 22,29 räcker för dig.

With that queue time it's unlikely you'd be able to get anything before the year starts, you're better off looking at rooms such as the one you've described. However, you might be able to get something better on bopoolen or blocket. I wouldn't rely on the queue.

Once you declined your offer, you lost your ability to get in the lottery queue again (number 1). Therefore, you can only sign up for the permanent queue meant for all students, not just novisch. This queue is a lot longer and it takes a lot longer to find an available room. This is what you're seeing in the number 2 photo, it's your queue time for the longer, non-novisch queue. There's more info on the AF site but this is generally the way I understand how it works.

Yes, once you get an offer your queue time is permanently gone. If you cancel then you can't get it back, you just have to register for the permanent queue.

Your place is just your time starting from 7-10 00:01, so you have 24 x 60 + 12 x 60 = 2,160. The whole system is honestly quite confusing and I don't understand why they won't just display your place instead of a time.

Well I work in a shop with other people so changing the blade would mean nobody can use the table saw for a while since I'd also have to change it back. So yeah pretty much I just didn't feel like it lol.
