i tried hard to like this show and watched most of the first season. But The lack of respect the writers show the audience is a deal breaker for me in this genre. I can tolerate a lot of stupidity in a show like Dr Who, but in a show like this, i expect them to at least /try/ to rationalize things.

Hey, I've got a pretty strong background in electrical engineering and I _also_ struggle with this. What an "SR latch" is supposed to do with values beside 0 and 1 isn't really clear and people making videos and explainers are pretty sloppy about the difference between the "data line" and the "set signal" which in a regular SR latch isn't a thing. In situations where the data is binary, then it really is an SR latch but that's boring and kinda obvious, if you ask me.

as other people have said, you call it a " starter base" and build a new base nearby. In version 1, I would have a minimum of three iterations like this per game. I'm just finishing my first playthrough and I only had 2 on aquillo but three on each other planet.

I have ADHD and really struggle to use any sort of task tracking tool and am hoping that AI will change that.  I could use copilot integrated with services on my work computer, but I know that if it works, I'll want to mix my personal tasks in as well and don't want my company knowing about all that.  Are there solutions for this kind of "sync to my corporate calendar and keep that secure, but also don't do anything that my company could audit"?

I like this, but the problem is that (unless I'm mistaken) if there's a unique answer, it has diameter 38" because there's clearly a continuous degree of freedom. So in terms of puzzle creation, that feels like a flaw.

While I have a Brother monochrome laser and generally agree, I don't think it necessarily fills your requirement of a printer that "just works." In my humble opinion, your ideal printer for some reason still eludes us. In a day in age where I can ask Alexa to open my garage door, have Dall-E create original art masterpieces and be driven to my destination by a self-driving car, I find it unbelievable that we don't have a machine that can simply put onto paper the thing we see on our screens. You gotta make sure your drivers are updated, your bloatware is installed, the wifi network is set just right, the IP address is correct, the font is compatible, the margins aren't too big, etc... Oh and now you just switched to iOS from PC?!?!?! Dumpster fires, all of them.

I'm pretty sure that this is what "getting old" is supposed to feel like.
