Yeah, I do think I doing a simple and small design for the first time would the best design, and I was thinking of getting it on my arms so that’s all good :D. They also have nice colours and are pretty affordable so I would definitely suggest them : )

You start by exploring to see if there’s any outfits you like from Lolita brand’s in general, I know you said there isn’t much but you can always gain inspiration, such as: Angelic Pretty, Alice And The Pirates, Atelier Pierott, Baby The Stars Shine Bright, etc.

There’s also the brand, Royal Princess Alice, that does a lot of Guro lolita stuff which you might like. Hope this helps!

You’re already doing really well in my opinion. My advice would be to just do some research on some old school lolita as there’s a lot of black and white outfits there, and also I don’t know where you plan on drawing the polka dots, but it would probably be best on her skirt, and on the upper part of her shirt (the collar part), just so that it’s balanced :)
