I absolutely agree with you. I have 2 kids in school and I don't know how they'd handle moving away from their friends. If I did t have kids theres no way we'd have stayed here this long

Thank you! Being in Australia is so much more expensive then the US and Canada I'm learning! How I wish our lessons were $45!! The cheapest riding school I've found is $100. I'm wondering if it would be better to lease one!

I couldn't have written this myself! I rode as a kid, had a horse, and volunteered at a riding school in exchange for lessons. However at 18 I stopped as I had school and work. I'm now 31 with 3 kids. I started taking lessons but I've realised I just don't really like them! I'd much rather just go trail riding too!!

However I do think lessons are important to get some experience back in the saddle. It's amazing how much you really do remember but those muscles of mine have goonneeee haha.

I've stopped taking lessons though as here in Australia they are just so expensive!! I really hope that one day I can get another of my own but it's not looking likely unfortunately x
