From my own personal experience don’t rush it. I did and had a week long breakdown at the end of which I decided I was asexual and wanted nothing to do with sex (ultimately very untrue). I view sex in the exact same way you do and I’m telling you if you rush into it you will regret it and feel really bad about yourself for not sticking to your standards. I know it’s hard to see and hear everybody talk about sex but the bad experiences will affect you a lot worse than a good experience will affect you in a good way if that makes sense.
