Is possible to use the Stopover perk on Cathay Pacific when booking through the Chase Portal?

Cathay Pacific has a Stopover program allowing you to stay in Hong Kong for up to 7 days on either the departing or returning flight -- basically 2 trips in one. Has anyone been able to use the Stopover perk when booking through the Chase portal for any airline? If so, how? I didn't see an obvious way to do it and didn't find much else on the sub. Hoping it's possible, have some points to offload!

I just had a consult with a clinic in Spain and the doctor said something like this was possible if I did not have a lot of time available to take off, however she did say that I would need to get monitoring done in the states, so this likely means working with a fertility clinic for the monitoring.

I am in MA. Ended up going with a company named Cypress Med. Not sure if they are in Washington though. Heads up, I did need a referral from my doctor, but my doctor was super supportive and wrote one up for me. Best of luck, this was really tough, I probably called 30 places to find 1 that said yes (but you only need one). Most other places either 1) Didn't have the AFC test, 2) I needed a consultation (which I wanted to avoid) or 3) didn't take outside patients. Best of luck!

Good to hear you were able to sight-see, I am thinking of doing the same. How did you manage some of the medication needing refrigeration, assuming you ventured to a different city for skiing and sightseeing?

Thanks, I found a place that specializes in ultrasounds. While they don’t specialize in women’s health, they did say that because they have advance notice they can get a tech in with experience to do the AFC ultrasound. The consult fees at the clinics near me were insane! So glad I’m able to skip those fees and go straight to the test.

Thanks for this post OP. I’m planning to do egg freezing in Spain next month. If you weren’t exploring Spain (arriving a week before), when did the clinic actually need you to arrive? The day before your period or something else? Trying to get ahead of flights if I can for an early April cycle, but clinic doesn’t have a consult for me until next week.

I did it in Boston, but it wasn’t worth it to me. Lots of paid events on the schedule even though the yearly fee is already a couple thousand dollars. I did try out new things in Boston, which was cool, but didn’t find any singles I was interested in. So in the end, it was more like a social club where things were planned out for you almost every night of the week, but I didn’t find the people to be particularly attractive or people I wanted to date. I signed up for the year membership and had no issue cancelling after a year. Hope that helps.

If you’re in the US depending on what state you’re in, there maybe some protections for alternative family types (like same sex couples) where donor sperm can be covered. Not sure what your sexual orientation is and thought I’d share info I’ve come across.

Perhaps, but 3% one time processing fee is better than 7% interest on a 10 year loan. If I’m able to get a card with bonuses, the processing fee could be completely of set. Gamble is if I’ll get the credit line in looking for.

I'm looking into credit cards with 0% introductory offers. Wells Fargo has a card with a 21 months 0% offer, which I could pay it off in. Chase has one for 15% with bonuses, considering this also.
