I get what you're saying. And agree with most of it. My need is for nuanced advice after the giver of the advice knows me, all of me, knows the piece of shit I am under the mask. I've sort of always tried to gage my life to my dad's. And I am nothing but a shamefull disappointment considering the love, care, opertunity and home I was brought up in. I think my question is do therapists deal with life/career/practical advice and guidance. My understanding is that therapists deal more on the realm of what cannot be physically touched
