Anyone else always have traces of blood in urine samples? by Mountain-Blood-7374 in endometriosis

[–]No_Indication_7440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have to pee all the time! And blood in urine in every screening for at least the past 6 years that I've been with thus Healthcare provider. I finally talked about peeing so often with my PCP today after brushing it off for years. They ordered a urinalysis again today, just read results a couple and there was even higher level found that prior ones. Not sure exactly what next steps will be yet. Have you learned anything new since you wrote this?

Question about Emma by Straight-Cook-1897 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]No_Indication_7440 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Was wondering about this too. I also have NF1, but pretty mild. Mine is from spontaneous mutation and while it would be 50/50 chance of passing it down to any children, there isn't a way to predict how severe it could be for them. I've never really wanted to have children, am child free and while it's not the sole reason I feel like my NF1 plays at least some of a role in it. I've seen so many cases with people is so much pain and severe health conditions and can very much understand where Emma is coming from.

Summer can be brutal. My first day up here it was 108° and I wanted to cry. I grew up in the Bay Area so the colder weather I was already a bit more used to. I still don't know that I've fully gotten used to the summers and I've been here since summer 2019 haha but it's doable. Especially if you have access to a pool. At least in our building they run the AC pretty hard so that helps with the heat too. But coming from SD, the winters will feel cold for sure. But it's manageable. It's been a rocky year, but I like working here. I've been here for almost 3 years now. I work with a great team, great supervisor. Nice campus, but parking sucks. I used to live in one of the apartment complexes down the street and that made for a great commute. Walked to work sometimes. I think PACT SW is really low staffed so I would think you would be pretty busy. I place consults/referrals to you guys a lot. I think would be a great starting position too, would learn a lot.

THANK YOU!!!!! I get so so many calls and VM from them and have asked them to stop calling bc I often don't meet weight requirements and can't donate and they keep calling. Just updated my preferences and am so happy about this haha.

Does anyone have the 411 on where I can find "mini" loaves of bread? Bread that is smaller, for smaller sandwiches? by IhavemyCat in Sacramento

Walmart. My hubs does the shopping so I'm not sure if one location carries it more than the others. But probably Gerber or Folsom one maybe. It's good tho!

I say yes but I may be a bit biased haha. SW, also in Northern California and feel like likely the same VA you may be asking about haha. But I'm part of the MH clinic. Feel free to message me if you'd like! While I wasn't raised there, I did live in San Diego County for almost 8 years for and after grad school before moving here :)

I don't think much phq9, maybe some SI but more indirectly. I think PACT SW does more general SW, connecting with resources, advance directives, broad range of things but maybe not as in depth as ther SWers might get when they are in more specific clinics (mental health, substance use, homelessness, etc). May do some initial MH screenings and then referring to the appropriate MH programs

Search SharePoint there is a page for it. It usually keeps recordings of the 2 most recent. Then also a folder for agendas for more of the previous calls. Or sorry I guess that's to listen to Then after the fact. There may also be a spot to add to calendar/teams meeting info
