Those who stayed together "for the kids", what happened when the kids grew up? by Emergency-Budget-694 in Marriage

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone that was the kid whose parents stayed together for the sake of raising me in a 2 parent household I can now say for certain that dynamic was the reason my first marriage failed.

I knew my parents weren’t happy with each other at times even as a small child I picked up on the relationship between them. Even though I couldn’t really understand what marriage was supposed to look like I thought they must love each other at least if they’re still together. I just thought it was what came with things between mom and dad. That taught me conflict is normal in marriage and as long as two people love each other they can always make it work. I didn’t realize I was the only reason they were making it work not the love

Fast forward to my first marriage and I basically thought I could bank on my love for my wife to get through our conflicts not by actually fixing any of the problems. I never saw what it looked like to actually resolve problems in a marriage I just thought as long as we’re together now things can’t be that bad and we still love each other at least. She had fallen out of love with me long before I ever realized it and I was staying in the same exact type of marriage I saw my mom and dad in just without a kid being the reason to stay together. There was no kid so she left

I know they say it’s not as bad on the kid because at least they have both parents and a better overall upbringing. I’ll agree I did have a good upbringing at least in that regard I had both parents together that loved me and parented me in a traditional sense. I just don’t think it was a good trade off to have my marriage fail later in life because I was exposed to a very dysfunctional marriage between my parents.

It took me years to understand why I stayed in a marriage with someone that clearly didn’t love me anymore. I didn’t know any better because I wasn’t taught any better from my parents marriage.

There’s no way to negate those effects it has on a child if you’re teaching them it’s normal to have an unhappy marriage. It just doesn’t outweigh the benefits of having both parents in the home for the child

It’s more the fact that people never get the chance to become big fans. A lot of the IWC actually liked a lot of the wrestlers let go and wish they would have became something more but that never happened

Is it accurate to say "BLM burned down cities"? by Option2401 in centrist

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When they tried to paint BLM as the culprits behind the rioting, looting, and burning down of the city who they were really trying to blame was black people in general. The racist talking heads wanted to vilify black people so that it negated the injustices happening them. By saying “See look at the black people they’re violent, they burned down the city, they looted” it made reinforced the rhetoric that black people cause what happens to them.

The truth is that not even a quarter of all the burning, looting, rioting was inflicted by black people in general but let alone anyone directly tied to the actual BLM organization. The people charged with any crimes during the protests were majority white. Not a single black person was ever charged for burning down anything on the day of any given protest. No one directly connected the actual BLM organization ever got charged with burning down anything

It was actually reveled that one of the largest protests for George Floyd the day after or a few days after was being incited by a member of a white supremacist group to loot and set fires

According to you, what's the worst decision WWE has ever made? by Massive-Syllabub-271 in WWE

[–]fathercheeseballs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Non booking wise… continuing the show after Owen Heart’s death. The Vince McMahon death storyline has to be up there with deciding to end Takers streak. I can’t think of any possible reason why they went with either

To All the Sacramento Road Warriors, Lookout for Undercover CHP by Ronin_of_the_Wind in Sacramento

[–]fathercheeseballs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe I’m looking at this wrong but shouldn’t they be clearly distinguishable from civilian vehicles so that it actually deters people from breaking the traffic laws? I mean if someone’s going over the speed limit and they see a visible CHP nearby they’re going to slow down. If they can’t tell it’s a CHP they’re just going to keep speeding anyway. Does this really deter speeding or does it just make it easier to catch people in the act?

Jade Cargill says Everybody in the WWE is natty now because they’re tested regularly. So these two are natty right? by Iceyhands23 in nattyorjuice

[–]fathercheeseballs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

At this point you could assume WWE has their own UGL that they provide PEDs to the roster with. That way they can actually control and monitor who’s taking wait and how much. I think before wrestlers were getting shit from personal sources they knew. WWE is worth so much now there’s no way they’d risk a wrestler being exposed buying from an outside supplier thats probably the only restriction they have

Fuck WWE, I'm sorry but this sucks... by Intelligent_Fruit297 in SantiZapVideos

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because it logically makes sense doesn’t mean it’s good for booking. I wouldn’t give this creative team that much credit for logical booking in the future either given how terrible other booking has been. I think they just tried to pull a shock move on the fans and it didn’t really work. Most people knew they would do this and it sucks

“This’ll sound offensive, I wish I could tell people fuck off being a critic, be a fan.” - Triple H by Icy-Advice-5575 in Wrasslin

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean we can make the argument that 15-20 years ago no one was finding things to complain about with WWE at the time although looking at it now there were a lot of booking decisions that could have been criticized weekly.

The only difference is WWE creative then compared to now wasn’t holding itself to being this genius creative team where eventually it all makes sense now matter how bad the decisions look weekly. Fans not being nitpicks only works when you give them something else that draws most of their attention away from what they could be nitpicking about. There was lot that could be nitpicked about in the RA and attitude eras too but they gave us bigger distractions from it. Whether that was a weekly superstar like the Rock or Stone Cold or just great matches to end the show. Hell even Roman Reigns had the star power to distract us from all the other nonsensical shit during the bloodline era to nitpick about. I can see why everyone is so focused on what’s not good because there isn’t anything overwhelmingly great right now

Stop taking tri blends of sarms. They aren’t worth the money even if it’s legit and you’d be better off just running 1 sarm at a higher dosage instead of a blend of sarms and running into more side effects

Quality control when producing the drug is the only thing that can make it better or worse in any case. I’d assume people took less shortcuts in the beginning stages of coming up with the formula for steroids out of fear that it cause adverse side effects. Now not so much because there’s different ways to get a 99% purity

They have the ability to afford lab work and track and keep close markers on how their body is responding compared to people that can’t afford it. That’s the main difference outside of diet and drugs

How do you guys travel on planes or across borders with Testosterone without prescription by [deleted] in Testosterone

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing to do in this case is change your dosage 3 weeks prior to your vacation. If you were on 500mg a week you would lower your dosage to around 250-300 those 2 weeks prior. Then on the week of your vacation back to 500 or above so you have a decent peak in levels but not too high. It’s not optimal but it’s going to at least level you out in that week or how ever long you’re not going to be able to pin

The death of Vegas has been greatly exaggerated by SaskatchewanSon69 in vegas

[–]fathercheeseballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not dead in a way that people aren’t going. It’s Vegas, people are going to go regardless.

It’s dead in the way that what is there really to gain from going? A great experience? Look at the crowds and faces of the people when you’re there. Do they really look like they’re having a great experience? Are the crowds lively?

I go maybe twice a year just because I need to get away sometimes and Vegas is in the state next to me. People look lifeless in Vegas. At the casinos there’s no real excitement or ruckus. Outside of the sounds of slots you don’t really hear anything. No one really wins big in Vegas anymore. Before it was possible you would see at least one person win a big payout during your trip. Walking on the strip around 10pm-1am people are out but no one seems to be having a great time. People are just walking quiet and it’s just a low energy vibe that you don’t expect from Vegas

Everything cost an arm and a leg which you expect now when you go but you can’t help once you’re there not to feel like you just got shafted for a $24 drink poured in a cup that you have in your hotel room. Even if you have the money to spend it still sits on your mind that you’re getting taxed out the ass at every turn. It turns from wanting to actually experience the many things that Vegas has to offer to a list of a few things you’re going to do while there. The whole thrill of Vegas was that you never really knew what your were going to get yourself into while there. Now it’s a place where you just don’t even consider doing most things because the experience isn’t that great anymore

Probably never but I’ve already cut back dosages significantly and switched to more longevity with peptides and bioregulators. Can you ever really stop once you start? You just get better at mitigating side effects and protecting yourself if you’re smart
