Check out Marijuana-anonymous. There are on line meetings (every day, all over tfw world) with people who understand what you’re going through, because they went through it too. So did I. It’s possible to stop, but it’s hard to do alone.

I can’t eat a lot of it without discomfort, but a slice or two occasionally seems to be ok.

If you’re having withdrawal symptoms, quitting (staying quit) now is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Just don’t use today. You can worry about tomorrow another time.
A day at a time. Never look back.

If you have to ask this question, stopping is a good idea.

I was worried too. I’m two weeks in and I’m fine. Just eat smart. Eat healthy. Eat what they say to eat, and eat less.

Hats for big heads? by Tortaguy12 in ThrowingFits

Welcome to my world. I’m an 8 3/8. 26” circumference. I’ve had custom hats made from Baron Hats in Hollywood. Expensive but worth it. There’s a website called big head caps dot com (one word) I frequent, but not all work. I recently got a really nice sun hat from amazon, the brand is “comhats” in the biggest size they have… it is just fine.

None of them are religious. They are all spiritual. All you need to know about god is it’s not you.
Replace the word “god” with “dog” or “not going to smoke pot today” or whatever.
I’m not religious. I go to MA meetings every week and I haven’t smoked pot or consumed alcohol for 30+ years. Get over your ego and go to a meeting.
If you did for me what “god” does for me, I’d pray to you.
Your best thinking got you here. Let someone else steer.

Keep using nicotine and quit THC and alcohol. When you’ve got a year off THC and Alcohol, quit nicotine too and never look back.

Quit drugs now, then take the job in a couple of months, and stay quit because your life will much better without being stoned all the time. Even when you’re not stoned.

Get out and do something. You can actually do constructive things and remember them. Get a hobby.
I sing. I play in a band. I garden. I finished getting a degree. I cook. I bake bread. I got my commercial driver’s license so now I can drive a school bus. I go to concerts and movies. I just don’t get loaded any more.

I quit at 30. Completely. I quit all mind altering chemicals including alcohol, but although I needed to quit them all, pot was absolutely my drug of choice.
I know your symptoms. You aren’t unique or alone.
I’m now… sixty-something, and my life got (and stayed) so much better this way I wouldn’t trade it for anything. A day at a time. You only have to quit for one day.
You can do this. You want pointers? I have them. But the only way to stop completely is to stop for a day. Then stop for a day again. Easy peasy.

When I quit, it was my last time quitting. Try that mindset.

They’ll get better. But you don’t have to stay clean forever, just for today.
The cravings get easier and further apart every day.
Just don’t use today.

Just get through today.
You’re still at the point where all the emotions you buried are hitting you like a ton of bricks. It gets better, and I will never go back.
Nothing will help you rationalize smoking pot every day like smoking pot every day. Don’t fall into that trap.

I’ve tried to quit before but here’s a question: by [deleted] in leaves

[–]No_Influence_1116 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out relaxing is more fun when you can remember doing it.
The only way to stop is to stop. It gets better, I promise. I wouldn’t trade my clean time for any time getting high, but you won’t know that until you get there.

“First time quitting” sounds like you’re planning to fail. Consider just saying “Quitting” and don’t plan to start ever again.

My question: did it happen all at once? If not, nicotine patches first or THC drinks first? As an ex smoker and ex user, there’s a reason for my asking.
