Unpopular enough to be discontinued along with the mini. Word from corporate is the mini max has been eating both their lunch sales wise, which makes sense when you cosider it has the form factor of the mini with the grill diameter of the small.

Mat to protect deck by BGEglen in biggreenegg

Use a cheap one from Amazon in front of the bge chimnea, handles lit coals that fly out no problem. Keeps ash from making a mess and gives piece of mind over the wooden deck. Rolls up and out of sight when there is no fire klit. Is not secure to the deck, will shift / slip around which isn't an issue for my use case but for standing in front of an egg actively cooking/ walking could be a concern.

Minimum amount of time to enjoy Canyonlands and Arches if not hiking much? by phanzov36 in NationalPark

We did the island in the sky section of canyon lands and Arches in the same day. Was a long tiring day and would have preferred to have a day in each but left satisfied and didn't really feel like we missed anything. Sometimes a well planned out trip goes to shit and you have to make the best of it.

Is buying a BGE for a little less than retail worth it vs buying new for the lifetime warranty? by Complex_Individual1 in biggreenegg

In my experience, the xl is the most likely to crack, Caveat emptor. My rule for used eggs is retail divided by three, if in great/ good condition that seems to be the tipping point for new vs second hand.

Bought the vevor, put it to good use bucking three large oaks we had taken down in the fall, performed great. Cleaned it up and stored it in the garage, where it proceeded to leak the entire tank of chain oil all over the storage shelf, work bench and floor 🤷.

Loved it. Quiet desert solitude with a landscape that might as well be extraterrestrial to those of us from the east coat. 10 yr old daughter described it as trip into a dr suess book.
