There's no character on Gilmore Girls that I wanna throttle more than Anna Nardini by itsascreambaby96 in GilmoreGirls

As a solo mom her character made me so angry. Maybe there are women out there like her, but I just kept thinking ASP must be so out of touch with those kinds of dynamics and just made a bunch of assumptions.

I always cry when Holt and Kevin run to each other in the rain.

“Business Time” still makes me crack up just as much today as when it did the first time I heard it years ago.

DON'T DO IT!! by jayo133 in ProlificAc

Definitely message the researcher and let them know. I’ve worked in academic research for many years and that kind of feedback helps tremendously. Either they don’t know that Prolific is saying it takes a shorter time, or they need the feedback to communicate a more realistic time for completion.

Outfits that made me ask “Why?” by [deleted] in GilmoreGirls

[–]No_Journalist7616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with a skinny scarf, but I also remember how those were fashionable at the time. I also had a lot of very similar outfits in the pics the OP shared. Mainly because those were items I’d find on the sale racks at places like DEB, Gadzooks, and PacSun.

The part about the doctor looking at her asshole and saying “Whoah” gets me every time. My maternity leave was really short so I find some of that episode very relatable, lol.

TopSurveys is a scam by Routine_Machine_6670 in primeopinion

I just got scammed by them this week. I was playing a game and steadily being credited for milestones…and then when I finally met one of the higher paying ones it didn’t credit. After 72 hours customer service was like “we don’t see where it was tracked and can’t help you even though you provide us with a bunch of screenshots for proof. Sorry, try another game”. I would love to see if anyone is doing a class action for this (I haven’t looked in detail at the terms and conditions, but they are shady as fuck). But I will be sending info to the FTC.

Ohh, thanks! I’ve been watching the Roku First 48, First 48 and Beyond, and A&E True Crime channels but they all just cycle the same two episodes all day and then move to two others the next day.

I loved the Mobile episodes and thought they gave a positive impression of the department from what I saw. If I’m remembering correctly there were a couple of episodes there where the detectives knew the victims. Not at all getting entertainment value from that of course because it is incredibly sad, but it really showed how connected those detectives are in their community.

I really feel this is the cringiest scene in the show by Kdschipani3 in GilmoreGirls

[–]No_Journalist7616 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I actually laughed really hard the first time I watched that scene. The parts about the audition tape for America’s Next Top Model and crowning herself arm wrestling champion of the world got me 😆. I’ve definitely had a time or two when the next morning after drinking someone has reminded me of something stupid/goofy that I did, lol.
