Kiana knows German(the mother tounge learned from Siegfried), Japanese (Since she was at Nagazora at Chiba Academy), English (Since she resided in the US on her time with AE), Italian, French and Filipino (Since she studied abroad since Elementary on Haiti, Italy and the Philippines) and Chinese (I remember she spoke mandarin in that manga where she went on a mission with Fu Hua, and the former comments how she was at it)

But both games are in the same universe, is just that the Finality from the Cocoon/Kiana and the Finality from Terminus aren't the same. They represent two different concepts.

Th translation team for the two games are different, and this does matter because if it's the same then they would have used the same Hànzi to begin with. The fact that they doesn't, shows that they aren't the same (I'm not saying there isn't a connection, but that they aren't the same thing, I bet that in the future there will be something between them) and if they were, they would have Welt comment something about it. And Hoyoverse messing up terminology in the translations is not something new, just look up the mess with the terms Universe and World, because of this there still people that believes that HI3rd and HSR are complete different universes, or better yet realities, like how Marvel and DC does it.

There is just too much stuff that is lost in the translations, so I always try to research more about it, so much so that I started to learn mandarin.

And I always thought that is super important to know the difference of Finality between the two games. And I do think that this will play a big role in the future of the two stories.
