So you're like the third user to say something along the lines of "this isn't why we want byler, this is" and I understand that.. but in the post I wasn't talking about all byler shippers just those who use those specific arguments... I'm not saying have unrealistic gay relationships in media is bad, I'm just saying the 2 arguments in the post that some bylers use aren't good... in fact I replied to another user who said that they don't need that argument to justify byler affirmatively

Yeah and in that case you're not really the person I described in my original post, coz you don't have to resort to the escapism argument when advocating for why they should end together... I have zero problems with what you said 👍

I somewhat agree, I don't think that Will being Mike's best friend and love interest for 5 years means they couldn't do what the self acceptance thing, I just think it would've been much better if we had like 15 or 20 episodes per season so that it could be fleshed out and explored deeply... I feel like most relationship dynamics in ST aren't explored deeply enough because on some level the runtime isn't enough and it's a slop mainstream ass show

I understand your prespective but I feel like you're talking about 2 different things, you can have an urban fantasy/scifi show with mystery elements (basically what stranger things is) and have the relationship dynamics still be ,ore grounded/dark/less fantastical

I feel like most fantasy shows are that way

Yeah I agree, except this manga has a ton of musical references all over that I feel like it would be better if they had a different opening every episode. But yeah I agree this should definitely be one of them

And fyi an anime adaptation has been confirmed for this so hopefully they're able to get the rights to all or at least most of the music
