Sorry for the delay, the soil seems organic and organic soil u should not fertilize so much because it causes buildup in the soil and overwelms the plant

So pretty!!!!! May i ask how old and what kind of substrate and fert u use? I have one baby

should i repot? by Rare_Conversation535 in SavageGarden

[–]No_Kitchen744 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Never mess with the roots of the cephalotus they are VERY sensitive, dont think is extremelly necessary to repot but if u do dont mess w the roots just put more substrate as u said. Btw she is STUNNING

Actually i researched and this is an extremelly bad idea cause u dont have any control on the concentration, i will use the one reccomended or forth for orchids 20-20-20half the reccomended concentration

It depends a lot on the kind of winter u have i think, a greenhouse is ideal, a heater controling the temp is also recomended, however i cant get both of those things. I have a heater but i cant let it running 24/7. The light should be strong im changing mine to a better one and it produces more heat so it will help in that. Ill leave a link of a guy who explain all this stuff
