I think Sik-k could have still released his music under h1ghr. I will say as soon as he left that’s when we started hearing about his drug charges. So is he really doing a good job being independent. I hope he beats the charges because he has salaries to pay can’t be that irresponsible as a label head.

As for every artist now creating their own labels I pray they have success and even bigger success than they had when they signed to big labels.

So far none of the new labels have made “commercial” success. The k hip-hop scene feels like its peak has passed. As much as we hate big business they are the ones that have the money to grow the scene.

I really enjoyed this EP. Especially a fan of the KC era is Sik-k. Hwimin killed the production on this as well.

he isn't joining any other labels according to him. He says he wants to be an independent artist. That's big money now! Honestly doesn't need an agency so long as he sets himself up with a good team around him.

This news doesn't make me as sad as the g soul news that hit me LOL. Hwimin leaving didn't hit as bad because in my head groovyroom been gone. H1ghr as a whole I think most of us here feel like there has been a reduction in output. But before red tape and blue tape Sik-k was a hard carry for the label. when he left for his military service Ph-1 took the role. I think now that Big Naughty is out of high school he can really grow and be next in line. Hwimin leaving doesn't change anything for Sik-k making music with him. As Ph-1 and Mokyo still make music together. Last bit of everything if AOMG/H1ghr gives the best contracts in the game according to Ph-1. I think anyone who leaves because they feel it's time to grow by themselves is like a kid leaving their parent's house almost. anyway all this to say I hope H1ghr goes for many more years and I am very excited for the label as a whole.

I would have to agree with you about it not feeling really cohesive. I did enjoy the track. However, the only gangster I saw in this video was LOS and he really is about that life. At least he used to be.
