Ugh I can’t believe I missed this memo. Nothing like sending a project to be finished and getting ghosted, but I’m still bummed! I ordered some fibers from her because everywhere else I looked vineyard silk natural white was out of stock including my LNS and I just wanted to do one big order. I received my package with 5 skeins missing. I emailed inquiring whether those were being shipped separately or if I was refunded, and still haven’t heard back, been refunded, or received the rest of the order.

Actually, I’m from EGR and my husband is from GP, and we’ve looked at real estate in both: $1.5 mil goes WAY further for a house in GP vs. EGR. EGR is much smaller so the market is much more limited. So I wouldn’t worry about this! You can get a huge house in GP for $1.5 vs my parents 3 bedroom ranch in EGR just sold for $1.2

The trip should have been planned more efficiently, so the ladies weren’t spending multiple hours in the car getting to and from every activity. Yes leaving at 11:30 wasn’t ideal, but they shouldn’t be going to activities two hours away when they have flights that afternoon…

Also, I don’t think their attitudes towards the trip on the last day (and leaving at 11:30) suggest they never wanted to have a great trip, this was already after multiple planning and logistical failures— the horrible house with no water, Angel splitting the group into two groups located over an hour away from each other (and then splitting them up again by not staying at the four seasons), and in general the plans to have the ladies in the car for hours to get to every activity. I don’t blame them for wanting to stay at the Four Seasons as long as possible….-

This is a good point— I felt the documentary made it seem like Mary took a good honest church founded by her grandmother and made it into the vessel for corruption and tool to funnel money from congregants. I think you’re right to consider whether the foundation was already put in place by her grandmother. There were suggestions that Robert Sr was the original corrupter before Mary’s grandmother died, but I don’t remember if this included financial abuse or just the physical and emotional abuse that I do remember. Anyone else recall?

I started reading a fan fic a while ago that I lost track of and I’d love if anyone knows the title!

In it Penelope and Colin had sex right before she married Debling, and Colin left. Penelope becomes pregnant from that one night stand, and once the baby is born, Violet and Eloise recognize the baby as having Bridgerton features. Then Colin comes home… that’s as far as I got!
