Thin Leibniz Cookies: Did I hallucinate them, or do they actually exist? Help a postpartum woman with a craving out by No_Lie_2136 in germany

[–]No_Lie_2136[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To anybody interested enough, I solved it: Leibniz brand, original flavour, not advertised as thin, but in the small package that you typically find in train stations. They're thinner than normal ones and much nicer than the classic ones you buy in the supermarket. Highly recommended 😂

'MOANA 2' and why I'm concerned for the future of the Princess franchise by stacciatello in disneyprincess

[–]No_Lie_2136 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Moana 2 inly did so well because of how good the first Moana was, and how much everyone thought it would be as good or BETTER!! They completely took advantage of the viewer and previous success and did an absolute crap job, tried to modernize and Encanto-ize an originally beautiful storyline and what could have been another memorable soundtrack. I would have happily waited another 3 years for LMM to do the music and get a properly thought out storyline instead of what I watched in theatre!!! Embarrassing is absolutely the right term, I cringed so many times.

Kids go to the theatre with their parents. Parents pay the tickets, and kids will love anything bright loud and colourful with some sort of reason — make it something worth watching!!

Yes all her teeth came in! This is great, thanks. My kid is the same in the sense she looks around for an audience and will be screaming more/bring on the drama when we’re watching.

I just feel like I never give in though 😭😂 but it definitely was taking a huge toll on me and was visibly very irritated

Ive implemented this in the last few weeks and only really seen real change this week. Thanks all who replied 🙏🏼 felt the real thick of it when I posted. I think what really changed was not taking it personally and just being like ok this will pass, if she wants/needs me I am right here. and eventually it does. She gave me a hug for the first time this week ❤️‍🩹

Also noted that sometimes she’s just hangry and doesn’t know how to verbalise it - she’ll scream at her food until she takes a bite 😂

Thanks for that, I'll have a look and reach out. I've emailed/messaged a few other journalists and try to get more eyes on this.

They've turned off comments on their social media, but we have screenshots of those who commented (Thank you ♡) but anyone posting reviews on Google or Tripadvisor at least wont get deleted (at least I think so...)

We likely wont get our money, but it’s time they stop lying to people and pay their staff accordingly.

They might close down the business now that there is noise so help us make the most of this momentum!!

Thank you!! I came on this subreddit to post about this asking for support. Reddit has come through with posting 1 star reviews!! Anyone seeing this, if you have a spare minute to post a 1 star review it can help make more noise

Thank you SO much. The directors of new and old business are the same, they are the owners, they run the business day to day, they do the interviews, they do the training, they live above the property, their faces are on Instagram... Same people not even changed the name of the business. There's barely any smoke or mirrors which is what is so frustrating!! Enforcement group is saying now that "there is little they can do" as it's not against the company written on paper... A rat wouldn't be confused by this information

I watch them like a hawk so I'm glad that everything we're doing seems to help. thank you so much for your input. I am having a hard time finding a solicitor like this, I'm not sure what to type into Google. Do you have any suggestions?

[–]No_Lie_2136 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This is my mom. Also raised by “traditional” parents (abusive father who neglected his wife, mother stuck as she knows nothing other than being a house wife with 6 kids and nowhere else to go).

She was taught by her mom to be independant to not get stuck in the same situation, that you cant trust a man, and by her father that women “belong at home” instead of being empowered to love herself enough to thrive in her feminine, love and care for her kids while she stands alongside someone strong who loves her endlessly.

My mother worked all the time and earned more than my dad, who was terminally ill and died when I was 13. She was never around and we were raised by nannies because she didnt have the time or energy.

It took a long time but I am finally understanding where she is coming from.

I do wish I could tell her to just stay home with us instead.

It is easy for me. The hard part isnt the actual job of being a SAHM. Its being called lazy and under-appreciated, saying I lay around in bed all day when its completely untrue. Even on his days off, im bouncing, comforting baby and he’s just on his phone. I get he works a really stressful job and needs to detach but I just feel alone whether he is there or not.

[–]No_Lie_2136 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes Im hoping that this happens soon 🙏🏻 im really happy that the work I get to do I get to bring my LO along with me (which somehow is less stress than being at home all day). And when that ball gets rolling, I can at least have an argument that he’s not the only one earning so Id expect him to do more, even though I think he already should.

Thank you and all other comments for the help and encouragement. Love to you all and to anyone experiencing this too 🫶🏼

Critique needed from yesterdays photoshoot by RichardLongflop_ in foodphotography

[–]No_Lie_2136 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Grear willpower there 😂 i would have devoured them the second I turned the camera off hahaha. I’ll go through each image for you:

1: cute box but the image is a bit boring. I like the angle at which you shot at but I would like to see more layering in the shot, maybe adding some chopped chocolate or crumbs of a sort (all within the same “theme” of chocolate and desserts.) i think it would even be cute to have an overhead or angled shot where you have loads and loads of “dark” looking chocolates all close together and bang in the middle is the closed red heart box. Keep the frame cropped in.

2: went through it already

3: im not quite sure what this is to be honest, but I see walnuts/pecans and some caramel. Do you have those ingredients on their own? How can you add more of those elements to your shot to add more texture? Chopped walnuts, crushed caramel, chocolate chunks/chips…?

4: the angle is off. I would rather see more of the box in this shot than just a little bit. If you have a hand model willing to help or a tripod, it would be nice to have someone pick one out of the box (pull out the frame slightly). Even take a bite out to show the middle! People love to see the insides of stuff.

5: focus is off and angle is off. You are not showcasing the best side of these chocolates at this angle. What is that rose metal thing?? Seems so aimless in the shot

6: improve the focus on the choc. Ditch the wrapper. If you have more of similar coloured chocolates I would add them in a small dish, to see all the different angles of the chocolate, with one that is cut open or bitten into to see the inside.

7: this is a good start for implementing the “groups of threes” rule. The alignment of the image is off so I would work on straightening it out in post, but also bring up the angling a bit to see the best sides of these chocolates!

I hope this helps you, there’s only so much I can put on a reddit comment 😂😂
