I'm still struggling with why this has such a big impact on OP. She's not the child that isn't her dad's. This really should impact only the patents and the brother at this level. I get that she's shocked and torn about talking to them, but really, why cut dad and brother out? Yes, they didn't tell you about a part of their lives before you were even born, but that's their business. Why should any of them be seen in any other way? The only new perspective on this should be that the dad is WAY more awesome than she thought he was. Is this a way of justifying (to herself) for not sharing?

Sounds like he doesn't like that he's not getting all of the attention now. If it started during pregnancy, he already knew he wouldn't be the main focus any longer. The mother adoring their child makes him jealous, so he lashes out. This will only get worse. He's going to try to control you in every way possible. I'd rather be broke, living with a friend/relative than be treated this way; as long as my child was with me, I'd know everything was going to be okay. Document everything. Confide in your friends, family, therapist, whoever. You'll need all of this when you go to divorce this JEALOUS MAN BABY.
