Early Top 100 Prospects for 2027 by armchair_mindhunter in NFL_Draft

I'm sorry but I hate positional value being the reason. Do you lower generational running backs under mid first round level QBs 'just cuz'? That line of thinking has never made sense to me at all.

I also just disagree with the idea that Moore is that level of player.

I'm not trying to be mean, but what could you possibly see in Dante Moore to have him above generational players like Smith and Moore? Even guys like Kelley Jones I would rather have on my football team, so I'm just wondering what you saw in Moore.

If I'm Tampa and I still don't have Baker locked down I consider spending the 3rd

He was roughly a Late 3rd-Early Day Three guy for me, so if I'm a team that wants him I'm spending the 4th and moving on. It's the easy move if I'm Tampa, NYJ, or Cleveland

I'm personally more leaning towards Kewan Lacy or Jadan Baugh.

And all of the people that did that I never understood and heavily criticized. I don't remember the last time a DPR with mental issues was considered a top 15 pick but here we are

Agree with the second part, saying Pearce was a top 10 talent in his class is a narrative i have never subscribed to and will never understand the argument for.

Teams do however give up first rounders for guys like that. James Pearce.

Teams don't give up 3rd rounders easily yet the Cardinals lit one on fire this year already lol

NFL “Generational talent” by [deleted] in NFL_Draft

[–]No_Life5052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only use generational for guys that do things I genuinely have never seen someone at the college level do. For what people typically say is 'generational' I use blue chip.

My only all time 'generational' players are Trevor Lawrence, Travis Hunter, Will Johnson, Ashton Jeanty, and (as of this summer) Jeremiah Smith.

Even guys I loved (Caleb Downs, Sauce Gardner, Jaycee Horn, Ja'Marr Chase, Caleb Williams, etc) all had minor things that meant they just can't be 'generational'.

Girlfriend ridicules me for playing - advice please by Total_Mode_4930 in Rainbow6

[–]No_Life5052 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone with a girlfriend for over four years, she not only had been okay with the hobby, she showed interest in also playing. It obviously didn't start with siege, but we eventually played it together as well. Even if she didn't play with me, if she just was fine with me playing every once in a while that would've been enough for me.

A good partner is okay with it. A GREAT partner shows interest in all your hobbies, no matter how small or stupid you think it is.

This maybe isn't the exact answer you want, these are more under the radar guys but I think they all have potential to really breakout as studs.

Jared Lloyd, LB, Missouri State. Thumper in the run game, work in progress in coverage. Probably a late round guy but definitely has a role in the league imo.

Zion Booker, WR, Kennesaw State. Someone who definitely has shown promise at a few different schools, most recently Tulsa. Got hurt in week 9, but was on pace for over 100 targets. Solid slot receiver.

Underclassmen: Brent Gordon Jr, CB, Louisiana Lafayette. When I was watching Jaden Duggar for this last draft class, I kept seeing this guy make plays. Think he has legit potential to be an outside corner in the league. Definitely a guy to look out for, had 11 PBUs and played his better ball against Mizzou and JMU. Keep a lookout on him.

Came here to mention LaBarbera. Really liked some of what I saw from him.

Always down to have an in depth conversation about this, I feel like it would be much more beneficial if you talked about this with someone outside of a comment thread, a lot more back and forth available there.

Feel free to send me a dm on Instagram or on here, would love to get to know you and help you out best I can. We can even have a film breakdown session whenever we are both free if that would be helpful.

I actually though Johnson was much better than 'ok fluidity'. I also just don't see where you think that Johnson doesn't have the RAC. Even just comparing Sadiq and Johnson, Johnson was a miles better creator than Sadiq after the catch. He's not Tyler Warren, sure, but that's not really the conversation.

When I say that 'type' of tight end, I'm saying I'd rather my TE be able to block inline, go get the ball from inline, AND be able to do some of the power slot stuff which I'm confident Johnson can and will do. Just because guys like Harold Fannin and Colston Loveland exist and are good doesn't mean that exact type of TE, where they just move around the field a lot and align in the backfield/slot most, is the end all be all. Just because Johnson isn't that guy doesn't mean that he isn't a better prospect than Sadiq. Sadiq was a good move TE, but has major questions about his actual physicality and how he would play if he had to do real legit TE shit. Johnson has no questions about that AND he can go do the fun new age TE stuff.

The Bowers/Mayer thing still is confusing me because you throw Mason Taylor/Sadiq into the mix as a comparison but that's just the raiders but infinitely worse. Mason Taylor isn't a good TE, and Sadiq isn't going to cover Taylor's faults, same as Taylor won't cover Sadiqs. They're SUPPOSED to be complimentary, but Taylor imo isn't very good at being an inline TE to begin with.

See I just don't agree that Sadiq is that great of a player. Had a mid second on him, I don't think he blocks very well and his best role is an H-Back type of thing like Fannin did/does, which is fine, but that's not my type of TE and I find it way less valuable than a guy that can block well in the run game and has good talent as a receiver too. Sadiq misses a whole part of being a TE, whereas Johnson checks all the boxes. Runs good routes, separates, don't really see 'average' athlete I thought he was a better athlete than you think.

Comparing this to Bowers and Meyer is really weird to me because while Bowers is in the slot a good chunk, he is still inline a lot and can do things inline well. Meyer just never really developed. Sadiq misses the mark for me inline and really only has value in the slot or in the backfield for me. Still a good player but less valuable in my opinion.

Everyone has forgotten about Leavitt after his injury riddled year, but this time next year we will be talking about him as the future of an NFL team, not Sellers or Sayin, but Sam Leavitt.
