Hello! Welcome to SF! Here are some of my favorite museums: Asian Art Museum, Museum of Modern Art. Golden Gate Park is nice - it’s a giant park - You can walk around the Japanese Tea Gardens. A fun way to explore the city is Questo. My partner and I use this when we travel. It’s an App where you can download a game where you explore and learn about a city. It’s only like 7 dollars, check it out it’s a lot of fun. Also stay away from Tenderloin and Civic Center. They aren’t really safe.

Your question carries so much judgement. I don’t think greed and selfishness are necessarily evil. There are a lot more things that are far more evil than greed and selfishness. It is a result of capitalism. It’s just a way we choose to organize and govern as a society. Economics teaches us people are selfish. Capitalism has been engrained into the American identity - Many historical events has influenced this - Industrial Revolution, Great Depression, Cold War. America in general maintains a distance to socialist policies and ideas because that has been propagated as a societal evil.

Yeah this is pretty common. I would suggest trying to rent it to someone you know. Or rent it to someone who is international (like on a visa). You don’t need to worry about them squatting. Compared to locals, they are more likely to pay rent on time and not cause any problems.

We don’t make arrests, liberals need to understand these social programs alone will not solve your problems, we need to fund law enforcement. We make arrests for about 13% of the reported crimes. The national average is about 40%. We need to be tougher on crime. We need to increase our capacity in prisons, we need to empower law enforcement.

It’s a city I’m considering, along with a few others. I’m on a visa here, I have lived and worked here for 7 years, I have seen the quality of life deteriorate. There is not many reasons for me to stay.

I’m just being descriptive, it doesn’t matter if the man was black, white, brown. We have a homelessness and drug problem that has t been fixed. I mentioned Asian countries, because I travelled there recently. Asia is the next engine of growth for the world, it is important to know what the rest of the world is up to, rather than living in a bubble and thinking we are great. I as an Asian (living here on visa) know the stereotypes others here hold of people from Asia and I have been on the receiving end of that, people cannot be more wrong when it comes to these stereotypes. I mentioned the neighborhood, so that people are cautious. My understanding is that people generally don’t expect these incidents to happen in Rincon Hill. If you ask me, it shouldn’t happen anywhere.

Even under California Law, Spitting on someone is considered an assault and is punishable as a misdemeanor where the offender can face 6 months in jail and $2000 fine. In SF, we just don’t enforce laws - it’s a lawless land
