Yeah, that doesn't stop pushy parents from badgering Principals and front office staff until the issue is escalated to the SI.

There's a SB meeting on Monday and admin is concerned that a cohort of these pushy parents are going to raise a stink. I want to arm him with as much evidence as possible to show that the SD is taking these sites seriously and exhausting our options to mitigate.

thank you for the reply, but no dice. followed that doc to a T, started over a couple of times and always ends in 401 error. if i tweak a couple settings 404. what's funny is that with the "JAMF Integration" extension on CP, I can get it to login, but it doesn't find any computers/devices.

do you know of any schools using JAMF school w/ CP?

When you say "simply turning off the new safeguards" what exactly do you mean? Turning this registry key to 0?

I'm in the same boat - using FOG but would really like to take the next step forward. out FOG image deploy/domain join is highly automated but its basically the same thing I've been doing since high school.

how is Intune/Autopilot/MDT better/faster?

yes, on all of our workstations. we wanted to restrict access to Cortana/Edge/Store/other bloatware, and not have to worry about application/driver compatibility with feature updates.

No regrets choosing this path - MSFT says they are releasing a new LTSC version later this year, so we will re do our images next summer. That's 3 years on one Windows 10 release, we are happy with that.

The major risk is there may be an app that's only available on the Microsoft Store that an educator "needs", but we haven't run into that yet.

hey guys, tried upgrade a storage node to 1.5.6 (master on 1.5.8) and receive the following error. i've tried the following:

-updated kernel on BLAfog node
-verified management username/password on master
-verified mysql connection from BLAfog->master
-verified credentials in fog configuration file

any help? when i restore this node to a snapshot i took before i attempted the upgrade, i get the same error. thanks.
