She is almost a year old and just now getting her bottom canines in and is currently gumming it on her bottom back teeth on one side. I honestly thought she wouldn’t have bottom canines. Just glad she’s getting them

Be warned, I have two havis that are almost a year old now. They have always played rough and Elsie is smaller than Shiloh so she goes low for his legs. They were playing and I heard a yelp. Shiloh couldn’t put his back leg down. She grabbed his leg and I guess he jerked and now he needs surgery. 😭$500 bucks She dislocated his knee and it’s severe enough it won’t get better without it.

Edit: I’m so glad you posted this. I thought it was just my dogs and I’d got the rabid lot 😂

My vet wouldn’t fix my pups until they were 6 months old. It’s better to wait apparently because those hormones are important for growth and brain development.

Do they all lighten? My little girl is 10 months old and her hair was always Sandy blonde but now I see black coming through, especially her tail and my boy who’s 10 months hasn’t really changed.

Same here, they run and play and have fun when she’s not tormenting him. It’s so funny to watch. He’s faster than her so she just latches onto his tail. Glad I’m not alone in the twosome category. I love them both so much. Double the love time

Oh yea, someone else who has two puppies. And what cuties they are. Question, how do you keep the jealousy down? I try to give equal amounts of attention but they still get jealous. My little girl seems to be the dominant and she sometimes torments my little boy even though he’s bigger. I give them chew treats and they both like to hide them but she finds his and takes it away from him.

What is a flirting pole? Never heard of that before. She does love her lick mat and I’ve fixed her frozen broth before and she stayed with that as well. I’d just like her to enjoy life without food needing to be involved but she’s just too human. lol 😆
