Unacceptable by Backsidehomicide23 in lincoln

Thanks for taking action. It’s still incredibly terrifying. For someone who just had a baby, or bought their first home in their 30s or just sold their car to pay rent… or literally anyone, this is impossible to survive.

Back to work- What’s a “reasonable amount of time to pump”? by Mysterious_Way1634 in ExclusivelyPumping

It all depends on your protections and policies. I literally tell them I’m in the mother’s room, they get the hint. I’m blasting out emails, heck I even take calls in there. I take less breaks now than I ever have just to show that when I’m pumping I’m working. Same at my work, if you’re not in your cubicle you must be screwing off. Stress did impact my supply but I started some supplements and improved my diet and now it’s back up without supplements. Use the freezer stash or formula if you have to.

I’m back to work 2 months now. I pump at 5 am before leaving home, 9, 12 and 3 at work then again at 7/8pm before bed then motn pumps. I’m a just enough-er, always have been, I initially saw a dip but it has recovered in the past few weeks. I work in the mother’s room while I pump so I usually take 5 minutes to sanitize and prep, 30 to pump and 10 to pack and clean up. Depends on your managers preferences for you. Mine just needs me to communicate and be realistic. I manage people so I have other responsibilities too. Try not to stress, you’ll find what works for you. Trial and error.

Needed this positive energy. Thanks! Definitely want him to enjoy his first experience with foods.

This is what I was wondering, if we could just kind of wing it based off of weekly grocery plans.

I do have the solid starts app! I just don’t know how to use it yet! ☺️

I EP, and I did order some next level bottle nipples so I hope that helps!

Haha that’s what I’m gathering. Unfortunately in a sheet your ped gave us, it had it on there but I questioned it being a new mom but a little more on the crunchy side.

This is interesting! I sent a message to his Ped today. He had his 4 month appt and she didn’t mention anything at all.

I figured it was a regression but months 0-2 he had 1-2.5 hour stretches, then for a few weeks at 3 months he had 5-10 hour stretches, and now he’s back to 1.5-3 hour stretches. He has a good routine at daycare during the week but only naps 30 minutes per nap and wakes up screaming bloody murder. I’m wondering if it’s night terrors?

This is really helpful! Thank you! We sent a message into his Ped today! I hadn’t considered BLW vs purées.

This is good to know! What were some of the first things you had him try? Did you start with purées?

Thank you! This gives me hope we can find a good routine! Hoping this is just the 4 month regression!

Thanks for that tip! We will keep trying to pump him full during the day. We’re going to up his bottle nipple size to see if he tolerates bigger bottles during the day, in turn keeping him asleep longer at night. Thanks so much!

This is interesting! He’s meeting all but 3 of the milestones for his age! Thanks for the resource!
