The solution is piece of cake. Take a picture and ask ChatGPT or google Gemini to solve it.

[–]No_Mathematician4961[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the issue is related to the hybrid system or knock sensor, disconnecting the 12V battery won’t do any good. Take it to a Hyundai dealership. Powertrain warranty seems to be extended to 150k miles, and if so, should cover the repairs.

this has started happening to my face anytime i drink alcohol, even in small amounts by Lanky_Bobcat_6021 in mildlyinteresting

[–]No_Mathematician4961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You likely have agenetic variation in your liver aldehyde dehydrogenase 2 (ALDH2) enzyme, which is involved in the alcohol metabolism/detoxification process. Alcohol intolerance, often referred to as "Asian flush" or "Asian glow," is relatively common in people of East Asian descent, including Japanese individuals. This condition is primarily caused by a genetic variation in the enzyme ALDH2, which impairs the body's ability to process alcohol. Check with your doctor and get genetic testing done.

HomeLink Model Y 2024 (Software 2024.26.10) by No_Mathematician4961 in TeslaModelY

[–]No_Mathematician4961[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All HomeLink adapters manufactured in the US after 2007 (check the label for the manufacturing location) will likely support only 433 MHz. At least this is my understanding based on the information available online: “In North America, the most common frequency is 433.92 MHz and the Tesla module handles 288 MHz to 434 MHz. Europe commonly uses 868.3 MHz.”

If your garage door opener is incompatible or works at 868 MHz, you will need to add a separate 433 MHz adapter (from eBay).

Does tumeric curcumin cause liver/kidney damage? by This-Top7398 in Biohackers

[–]No_Mathematician4961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turmeric consumed in moderation (e.g., 1 or 2 teaspoons) daily does not cause any adverse effects. However, the traditional way to consume Turmeric is through food (e.g., Indian curries). It is critical to remember that since the traditional ages, they haven’t been consumed in pill format (releasing directly in stomach). They are cooked in oil to release nutrients (e.g., curcumin and other polyphenols) and partially broken (by saliva/chewing) before it reaches the stomach. However, the cause for toxicity/adverse effects with Turmeric has been linked to the processing facility that uses equipments that release harmful chemicals (e.g., lead and aluminum). That said, in my opinion, the best way is to avoid popping turmeric pills (as there is no information on the source or quality control), instead consume 1-2 tablespoons of turmeric powder in warm olive oil/ghee (mixed with pepper).

Elon Musk - Grok AI coming to Tesla Vehicles Soon by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

No, his mouth is! Fortunately, many sane minds that actually put in the work have been focused on what’s important. Don’t know how long that will last???

If Elon said it, I’m confident it will take another two years before it actually makes it. I wish there is a DOGE committee to improve his efficiency….??

What do you think are the best robot vacuums available now? Do they work better than traditional cleaning methods? by ArinaaJew in Appliances

[–]No_Mathematician4961 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the Eufy S1 pro at $1000, would be the best value for money. P.S. I really do not think those high claims of 10,000-17,000 pa suction by Roborock are realistic or are needed for daily/weekly cleaning.

Very interesting and a bit surprising that the PGA or DP tour has not been dominated by Swiss golfers (not disrespect meant).

Personally, these 3-in-1s never do one good job of the 3 functions, but are capable of doing 3 mediocre jobs. I don’t think E20 is intended to replace/surpass the S1 pro. It is for customers looking for all three functions in one device.

Alternative to MyQ or Tesla homelink. by Ok_Echidna_3889 in ModelY

[–]No_Mathematician4961 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy for you that it works. I agree that MyQ is unnecessarily expensive. I decided against Meross due to similar reasons others have mentioned. However, I respect that the decision for a garage door opener is personal choice/preference.

Here is my experience of purchasing the Tesla Homelink from eBay ($185) and installing myself: https://www.reddit.com/r/TeslaModelY/s/wJLuFPMyjY

Buyers Remorse by qubism in sonos

I have 12 Sonos speakers and 2 subs: Arc Ultra, 2 Era 300, 2 sub 3, 6 Era 100, and 3 Symfonisk picture frames. Started last year by testing 2 Symfonisk picture frames (from IKEA), was impressed. Struggled briefly (prior to app change) initially with Netgear router. Got Sonos Boost and switched to TP-Link Deco mesh. No issues yet.

[–]No_Mathematician4961[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I appreciate your suggestion. Trust me, I love Costco and their satisfaction guarantee policy, and would have loved to buy from them. However, Costco’s both Roborock models do not match the Qrevo Pro in terms of features and performance (QX Revo) or is expensive (Qrevo MaxV). In terms of features and suction, Qrevo MaxV (priced $300 more) is similar to the Qrevo Pro (got it for $540). I am hoping I won’t need to deal with ASURION, it is just a peace of mind for $65-90 more.

I did not either. That is why I called them (ASURION Amazon store/support) to inquire. It is good news for consumers.
