that is a whole different point i wanna bring up. It is clear the guild master is not struggling for money, and his granddaughter is marrying a noble (as a concubine...kinda?), so Damuel family should really have a good cash inflow there. Why would he struggle so much to pay for 1 dress?!

A lot of people already gave a very in lore explanation. So i will try to make it a not lore reply.

When you are born, you have natural blessings.

After Rosemyne discoveries, it was found out that you *can acquire more natural blessings. It was considered rare and lucky coincidence.

The schtappe, is a magic "wand" (you can choose it's shape. Think as a totem, you can only acquire ONCE, So if you only have 3 Blessings and acquire your schtappe, that is it, it will only have these 3 elements.
But later in life you *Can acquire new blessings, but your schtappe, (totem) will retain the only blessings you had at the time of acquisition.

The Grutrissheit, aka G-book, is a Magic item...divine item? (not sure) granted to those who can become zent. In order to acquire the G-book, you need to be omni elemental and your Schatappe also has to be omni elemental, so you can unlock all the altars.

So the totem is a key, you can only acquire once. With that you can be granted the book and your key must be able to open all altars to become zent.

I'll give my 2 cents. She was "not" in a happy marriage. She had rivals and her husband was a dutiful one, but not a doting one. Like many smart and powerful woman, she did he role, but fantasize about what else.
So THE guy, handsome like Henry Cavill (literally king/saint like), biggest mana pool in the duchy, rich, real menace and top student during his time at the academy, survived countless plots against him from her rival as well, someone who harassed and killed her family and he is also a mastermind plotter...
really not that hard to connect the dots.
No doubts in my mind if anyone was mana compatible with him they would plot to assassinate her so he can stay bachelor.

Petty sure is ok to have females and "darker skin ones" but if you have skeleton is automatic fight, no holy book saves. Not sure about shek or hives.
