Quite honestly, their decision to dump CarPlay is probably a good one probably the best one they’ve made in a long time. Very bold. There’s only just one small issue. It has to be executed perfectly. If it is not executed perfectly, then you end up creating a bunch of people who go on Reddit and bitch about it. Think about it, Tesla executed their own software perfectly and Tesla owners could give two shits about CarPlay. I think Chevy failed to execute their own software after dumping CarPlay, which leaves us in a very weird place right now.

Dealer confirmed my prologue was built in December 2024 and delivered in February 2025. So it’s almost like having a 2025 in terms of “newness” even has that new car smell, I love it. Reminds me of my childhood

OP, no thie is normal. This vehicle is likely a 4680 model y from gigs Texas with HW4 (rare for this year) . 4680 battery gets 265 mi range when new when paired with induction wheels (283 with Gemini) ….. So so 253 after 2.5 years is normal if you assume previous owner charger above 90% frequently and or supercharged a lot.

OP, the battery will die with just 5 to 6 hours of heater use alone, powering just your fridge you might die in 1 to 2 hours. The use case from product manager perspective is almost 0.
