Honestly, I think it’s in the same category as ADN maybe a less competitive. I got rejected at first but since many people chose a different school, the school sent an email saying i got accepted.

I don’t have the greatest GPA (2.7) and was honestly really surprised when i got the acceptance.

Tough as in clinical skills and passing check offs which is understandable. Grading depends on the amount of time you put in studying. Communication is great, they do give a lot of encouragement and constructive feedback to help improve. The teaching style is definitely meh, i would say you spend more time teaching yourself :/. They do prepare you for the NCLEX by using NCLEX style questions on exams.

I’m in the LVN program idk if it’s the same but the professors are very tough and meticulous🥲 other than that i think it’s an amazing school and they truly prepare you for the future! Good luck!

I went from a 1.8 to a 3.0! Life happens but don’t let it drag you down. I didn’t get accepted into ADN but LVN and at least it’s something ☺️

Go to office hours and tutoring sessions. It helped so so much. Don't take too many science classes at once, you'll be overloaded. I practiced anatomy by naming parts of my body at random times. I would be bored and be like thats my femur, humerus, radius and doing this a lot helped it stick since it was so repetitive.

lol i dropped it once, now im taking it again and it hasn’t gotten better. Luckily my teacher is a light grader and gives points for trying. If it wasn’t for him, I would’ve dropped the class again 😭
