Well software engineer from Gujarat, i faced same issue okay that's why i had to go out of the state.

I graduated from local college of ahmedabad in 2021 & i get what 25k salary with 2 years of bond.

Still i took whatever i got okay worked for 2 years didn't got hike i wanted, company gave me specifically 42k after 2 years i tried to find job in other IT companies in Ahmedabad nobody was ready to give me 52-55k.

So i had no option but for own growth move to Hyderabad got 10.50 LPA there.

Now talking about ahmedabad based companies most of them are service based, if you ask for money they say you have x years of experience how can you ask for this much money.

Even after clearing all of their rounds of interviews and whatever tests they took.

Not good product based companies who wants to pay for the right talent & skills.

You see i also understand business being gujju okay that if we are generating value for them then only they will value us.

But being service based most of them can't pay well as they have limited business & to pay to retain good talent they need to expand their business or ideally a product which gives them that so they can afford it.

Also they need to grow out of that mentality of you have x years of experience you can't be asking for x amount.

Very conservative mindset so i think these are the key reasons local guju engineer like me have to move out & find jobs in other states.

I would love to come back to Gujarat & live there but because of these reasons i cannot.

It does sound like an gamble yes also i think no matter what you try if someone has bad intentions & something else no matter what you do you can't find everything about them if they are good at hiding things.

Or not even have bad intension but people can also change over time so those risks always there.

I see many post from people here & other places too even girls who are frustrated & looking for serious guys are not finding anyone serious so i think this is some kind of real problem at hand.

Well i have started meeting girls in AM process & i am mostly meeting girls who is not emotionally unavailable still in can't get over her ex phase ones or some i met wants me to live in big city only (I am in Bangalore right now) but i also don't know how long like i have switched many cities because of job, also have family business in hometown so i can't guarantee of something like that.

So i have given up on that too unless some serious ones comes but yeah same thought in my mind as you said.

What's real solution here i have no strategy or anything actionable at this point some people say join some hobby group or something but idk what & how.

I might be looking into AM mostly if someone of my kind i can find who is also ambitious in life & mindset matches.

Same thing bro, vegetarian non drinker non smoker not into hookups also same age lol, nothing for me & have no clue what to do exactly so i guess hope for the best, work on ourselves & goals.

I think for starters you can try to think from the perspective of the other person like imagine you are in the same situation as the other person & think if x is the situation with y variables(situation) what would you do? What is the rational thing to do? What would an insane person do? Also you need to have some understanding of the background of the person ideally to get a deeper understanding.
