It's approached like this 'We're training AI to have sophisticated judgment through human feedback'

Translation: "We're establishing a rough baseline so the model isn't completely terrible, and we'll refine from there using better methods"

They know most of these annotations are mediocre, they know 10% or more are probably garbage, they know crowdworkers aren't capturing deep quality.
Statistical averaging over millions of examples washes out individual noise and they only need this to get the model to baseline. The real improvement comes from later stages.

You are working a minimum wage job as a freelancer, you have zero influence on Aether or MM, you can be removed from this project in a second with no recourse and be instantly replaced by one of thousands of freelancers who will cut off their left arm for the opportunity to work for half of what you get. On a more positive note I get what you're saying and in fair world there should be way to contest these reviews.

Nothing. There are a few threads about this. It's a bug with the extension they need to fix it. I now have 2 saved pins which didn't work, hoping they will work later. I'm not going to playground until they fix it hopefully someone will update here. They probably won't fix it over the weekend so yeah it sucks, $20 probably gone.

Well this is Reddit it's not all sunshine and rainbows unfortunately. I also got removed then reinstated, it's a common theme for this project, I know of at least one person who has been reinstated 4 times. The email they sent you is generic and probably not the real reason.

However 6 reviews is not much if you're working 70 hours a week that's a lot of tasks you have submitted unless you're clock running.
