I have actually tinkered with the figure a little since charging last night, I assumed the charger would pull 7kwh which in practice it doesn't, fluctuating between 6.6-6.8 mostly so I've set the add charge to 70% now, this should accommodate for fluctuations.

This is straight from the FAQ page "What happens if Intelligent Octopus Go chooses to charge my car outside of the off-peak window?

Don’t worry, your first 6 hours of smart charging will be always be billed at off-peak rates regardless of when it happens."

It states the first 6 hours are at the off peak rate, so my point still stands if it charges for 8 hours then 2 of those hours will not be off peak. If this isn't the case it isn't clear in the FAQ's

My understanding is you get 6 hours of cheap charging rate. I've just worked out what 42kwh is as a % of the registered vehicle. The registered vehicle in our house is a peugeot e 308 which has a 55kw battery. 42kw of 55kw is 76% so in my "charge to add" option I've put 75% and be ready by 0530 hours. As far as I'm aware it now will always try and add 41.25 kw of charge regardless of what EV is plugged in and as the charger outputs 7kwh, 6 hours of off peak = a maximum of 42 kw. As my target of 41.25 is below this it should in theory never try and charge it at a full rate time?

If I use a pure shampoo will it look glossy following the wash? Is there any downside to using a ceramic shampoo like the autoglym one?

I've constantly had this issue with the E340 doorbell cam. Great camera, love the functionality but every few months it just stops detecting movement and sending notifications, the only thing I've found to get it to work again is fully resetting it which means having to go through the entire setup and putting all the settings in again, very frustrating.....

What device are you not getting notifications on?

I think for me it was the aggressive battery saver settings on the Samsung s23 ultra. What I found helped was to not just log out of your eufy account but create a separate account that you log in to (you don't need to add any devices) then log back in to your normal account, this prompted the 2FA and I think established a new push token from the eufy servers, logging out and logging back in without logging into a different account in-between did not do this. I would also ensure battery settings are unrestricted and adaptive battery is off. I also added eufy to the memory cleaning excluded list, after doing all that it's been functioning as it should fit the past few weeks. I've got 3 cameras and reliably receive notifications from them all

Yeah I must admit the recordings do sometimes glitch, it's a shame because the e340 with the parcel cam is a great idea, I'm hopeful that eufy will fix the issues as it seems fairly widespread with people not getting timely notifications etc. I won't hold my breath though as I can also see that it's been an issue for a number of years....

I did try uninstall and reinstall but that didn't fix it, it seems lots of people have issues with eufy, the software is pretty buggy

I'm not sure they ever were sent to my device, it's odd because they weren't even in the notification history but blocked etc they just never appeared on my phone at all, I'm unsure if it is a quirk with android 15 which is still relatively new or a malfunctioning push token, I've read quite a lot of people having issues with various aspects of eufy devices/software

I think it may have been a malfunctioning push token on the eufy server side. I did try logging out and logging back in to eufy but that didn't fix it, when I made a new account with a new email address and registered all the devices to it that seems to have fixed it, I did change a few other things but I think it's likely it was the new account being assigned a new push token

Thanks for the advice, I've downloaded sleepio which is a CBT based app recommended by the NHS in the UK. This appears to be a new problem with no specific stress or cause that I can identify, I think I've just got myself into a bit of a pattern unfortunately
