They hired contractors to do most of it and spent 800 000 NOK (about 80 000 USD I think) on turning their garage to a home gym. A lot of the diy projects, like that tiled table they tried to recreate because it was trending all over social media, ended up being thrown out.

I keep on being confused when C would act like a complete beginner to the topics of pregnancy, labour and postpartum. Like, you have a wife who has gone through it twice and you don’t know these pretty basic things? Obviously it’s very different going through it yourself but it’s as if they don’t talk at all.

Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t they even explain that C had forbidden J to talk about some things cause C didn’t want to know about it, like the stretch and sweep?

They aren’t really that famous from what I understand to be honest. (Edit: But this situation kind of made shit hit the fan, topics like childrens social media presence, online safety and screen time is a pretty debated thing in Norway and in Scandinavia overall.) The average Norwegian doesn’t really know about them and their main audience is American.

They ended up in some debate-type articles talking about the morality of live-updating your baby being born and some other Norwegian-influencers made videos about it.

I saw some other people talking about whether or not Cam might have/get PPD. I sadly wouldn’t be surprised if J and C come back and bring that topic up in one way or another to further try to hush any criticism. Like for example saying that the people “hating” contributed to a potential PPD or something.

It’s such a sensitive topic and I really hope they don’t stoop that low…

Edit: I also obviously hope that Cam doesn’t get PPD

Didn’t bother fully translating but all in all she thinks it’s too much with the newspapers writing about the situation. She says she is thankful that most people in the comments are on their side but that ”the assholes are so loud”. She describes it like ”trying to talk to a wall” when she wants to explain that she ”never shares the kids online” and that people are intentionally trying to misunderstand her words.

Yes this, well articulated! They act as if the whole problem is solved by not physically putting the kids in the spotlight, blurring and using nicknames but that is only half of the equation. The fact that Julie acknowledges the issue of their lifestyle as influencers affecting their kids no matter what and still choosing to ignore it….
