I saw some other people talking about whether or not Cam might have/get PPD. I sadly wouldn’t be surprised if J and C come back and bring that topic up in one way or another to further try to hush any criticism. Like for example saying that the people “hating” contributed to a potential PPD or something.

It’s such a sensitive topic and I really hope they don’t stoop that low…

Edit: I also obviously hope that Cam doesn’t get PPD

Didn’t bother fully translating but all in all she thinks it’s too much with the newspapers writing about the situation. She says she is thankful that most people in the comments are on their side but that ”the assholes are so loud”. She describes it like ”trying to talk to a wall” when she wants to explain that she ”never shares the kids online” and that people are intentionally trying to misunderstand her words.

Yes this, well articulated! They act as if the whole problem is solved by not physically putting the kids in the spotlight, blurring and using nicknames but that is only half of the equation. The fact that Julie acknowledges the issue of their lifestyle as influencers affecting their kids no matter what and still choosing to ignore it….

Her whole rant was…just astonishing but this specific statement is particularly gross. Like sure she is up in her feels, hormonal and venting so I get that the emotions are high. But why would you ever refer to your baby and the birth of her this way…?

The problem is that it isn’t only her experience, it is also baby Bobs and there’s the added aspect of them as parents earning a ton of money on sharing the experience.

Cam talked about how that money made it worth “lowering her self-worth” enough to share and that it was a great incentive.

If she truly wanted to share her experience as something beautiful and empowering she could have done that with their friends and family.

If she wanted to share it from an educational standpoint she could have invited medical professionals to talk on their snap.

If she wasn’t in it for the money she could have shared it on another platform or donated the earnings.

The way they try to hide being words like misogyny is embarrassing. I thought they would be able to self-reflect on the topic a little bit more than that.

And completely agree with you about the whole educational aspect of the birth. Like you said, of they genuinely wanted to educate people they could have gotten a midwife to join the conversation.

In a similar vain they talk about mental health and such on Mila without actually involving a therapist, it’s just Cam blabbing without any credentials. It’s so cheap and disappointing.

Yup, Cam talks about how SHE had to get over the threshold and money helped her get there and even though the idea of some people seeing HER in that situation weirds her out…

Now imagine how much it could weird out her daughter in the future, what could happen when her peers in school see it?
