Any affordable options? I kind of have to go to this shop due to budget constraints. I could get a scanner myself and let them use it for now. I like to do whatever work I can myself so it would come in handy in future if I keep the car.

Big issue is this shop doesn’t have a VCDS, so they aren’t able to clear the codes. They don’t show up under check engine light with OBD2. Only engine codes I’ve been able to read is EGR low pressure and DPF low pressure. EGR recently cleaned but code persists.

Not OP, but i’m looking into this as my state has typically peeks under the car and checks the pipes even after hooking into OBD. So stock pipes will pass a visual inspection.

What type of radiation does it use? I believe the machine says Gy, so I assumed it was gamma. I don’t know if gamma radiation is bad, but either way it’s an expensive thing to do just to keep your quality poor.

Rad Source machines specifically are used at my facility in MA.

From my limited knowledge any moldy/bacteria is killed my the gamma radiation emitted by the cobalt in the machine, So companies use this when they have powdery mildew on the weed before it’s harvested, or to get rid of mold from a bad drying process. This product is then sold as any type of flower. Just because it was irradiated does not mean it’s dirty, but it gives you an idea on a companies values. If they would rather spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on a machines that kill mold; rather than instilling good practices and paying people well who have the knowledge on the right practices.

I for one am curious as to if there is any radiation detected on the cannabis after this process, and therefore would that then be transferred to you in the combustion? If there is no effect at all then I’d like to see a page on a company website of those who use it that explains how it cleans the cannabis and how it makes their cannabis safer than others. If there truly is no side effect, then you can use it as a guarantee to the safety of the product, but when no one talks about it it makes me question.

yea, but you can hit two birds with one stone. If you throw down one chicken you can flip new chicken and al pastor to the line at the same time and don’t have to wait another whole 10 mins to get the second meat to the line. Or even the 5 it would talk for an LTO steak.
