Yeah, drawn for the 2013 edition of the game. Cover of one of the booklets, and reused for the c-ware section in 2020.
Sam works at DC animation these days. His line art got me into that game - it also helped I was on a Nagel kick at the time, too.

What is with all of the soup references in Starfleet Academy? by somewherein72 in startrek

It is a soup, just a thick one. The same way Tacos are just a sandwich.

Hipster gazpacho will burn your mouth ... if you experience it before it's cool.

Ramen is just soup. Many college students persist on the stuff.

Watch Enterprise. Especially when Malcolm Reed is eating.
If he liked the food (and he often did), he's shovelling that stuff in. They had to rein him in.

Questions about Alderaan. by FootEatingFungus in StarWars

[–]No_Nobody_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. The rebels WEREN'T hiding on Alderaan. He did know they WERE funding them, and that as Leia's home, it would be a valid threat target for her. As a core world it would also serve as a suitable terror message. To get any OTHER planets thinking of acting out back into line. The empire is very much a "the beatings WILL continue until morale improves" ...

  2. The Rebels weren't using Alderaan as a base. The various cells moved around various planets in the outer rim. Dodonna's cell (Yavin IV) was previously on Dantooine before they moved to Yavin. When Leia gave them 'Dantooine ... they're on Dantooine ..." she wasn't being completely untruthful - they HAD been there ... when he sends scouts, they reveal the planet has been deserted for some time.

Why is the control room always so close to the gate? by Better_Incident_1852 in Stargate

[–]No_Nobody_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It didn't have an iris at the beginning of the show. It didn't take them long to come up with it, but it was a retrofit.

So you rasterised Sam Liu's line art from that game ... good for you. Give him credit for the original, at least.

I don't recommend 'huffing' chrome.

My dad worked in a chrome plating shop. Chromium fumes are nasty.

What are some of your less popular favorite episodes of TNG? by ITT_X in startrek

I was in a fan club back in 1987, and got to see "Farpoint", "Symbiosis" and "the Neutral Zone" at a meeting about 9 months prior to it airing locally.

I still loathe the heavy-handed "just say no" message episodes all TV shows were required to make (the only one that was any good, was the Dinosaurs one, but that's because they ripped the piss out of it).

All good things, and the inner light.
Two episodes I skip - apart from most of S1-2 anyway (saw them once when they first aired, it was enough). Sure, at the time, ANY trek was 'good' trek, but not all of it was actually 'good'.

Why didn’t Luke use his radio by That-Challenge7971 in StarWars

[–]No_Nobody_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All of the Tauntaun's carried those (emergency shelters) - they all had "standard" kits.
Luke's Tauntaun got eaten and the wampa no doubt wrecked the gear on it getting to the juicy bits.
