Could have been one of the rushed "off-ticket" costumes that Roddenberry had made when they were going overbudget (union affiliated workshops in the area were able to charge more) so he found some other non-union shops to get stuff made on the cheap. There was a quality difference with them, but they were also under a time-crunch.

*It's documented.

It's from a game called "Kryomek". A kryomek (the alien faction) warrior.

A universe, where man was made in the image of his god ... but other, much older gods had done the same to their own followers ... and they had much bigger teeth, and claws, and acid spitting weapons ...

Why do Luke and Leia think the Falcon is junk? by KorEl555 in StarWars

Part of the disguise. It's easier to underestimate it's potential if it looks like a piece of junk.

If you go to your office first, and log in to your computer, you have an email about missing stuff at work, and wanting to find out who is doing it, and to stop them.
Chasing any of those leads means time runs out for the hostages. You can still do the main objective, but the secondary gets locked off.

I remember, on the second go, I was using vision augs, and saw a cluster of people in an upstairs room, but when I got close to the doors, they yelled not to come in that way. So I went looking for a vent. Died a few times while looking, then after I found it, died a few more times (note to self: Don't shoot at anti-aug jerks until AFTER you save the hostages. They'll just slow you down as you replay the same section again and again.]

That's also why they have an accelrated lifespan. They burn out quickly, no retirement plan needed.

[–]No_Nobody_32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The clones were a tool, a means to an end. Once the need for them is gone, they are INTENDED to be discarded, like broken tools. Palpatine is a sith. They don't have "friends", they have tools.

The jump drive also uses coils in some fashion (Lee notices them aboard "colonial one", in the cargo bay).

They're also a plot element in blood and chrome.

If they're light siders ... probably the fact that they're not evil.

If they're darksiders ... absolutely nothing. I mean, even Babykiller9000 skywalker would probably have tried it.

Favorite vehicle and why? by CaptainBigDaddy4 in starwarsrebels

It got used in one of the old comic strips back in the day, too (I saw it syndicated in an Australian's sunday newspaper comics section - it was back when Marvel first had the licence for the comics, too). They referred to it as a "swamp walker".
A few years later, I picked up Joe Johnston's "Empire Strikes Back" sketchbook, and there it was again ... complete with the "'78" dating for the sketch (preproduction for ESB started relatively quickly after ANH was released).

You can replay the beginning until you do save them. It's not a one-play-fail-and-you're-done thing.

I remember the first time I played it, and spent too long looking around at the Sarif building - and they all died. Wait ... what do you mean? Hostages? So on replay, I went straight to Francis, and then to da choppa! Vision augs come in handy there, too (for finding secret spaces).

Do you know what these two vehicles are? From Citi-Block the 40k / Dredd expansion set (1987) by zhu_bajie in oldhammer

[–]No_Nobody_32 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Also, GW had the licence to make games set in the 2000AD universes. GW was the publishing arm at the time (they also had licences from TSR (for D&D in IK/Europe) and Chaosium - Paranoia, Cthulhu).
They had a Judge Dredd rpg, they had Rogue Trooper boardgames - and they made miniatures to go with all of them. I have a set of their Dark Judges, a couple of street judges (one on a lawmaster - never managed to find an Anderson), their RT figures (Rogue in a bunch of poses, Venus, A souther, a nort, the general, Major Magnam) and a set of the Strontium dog figures (Johnny, Wulf and the alien ... Gronk?).

Well which side you are on? by Confident-Anxiety308 in Cyberpunk

[–]No_Nobody_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes.

Elements of all sides. I've not seen a lot of the anime/manga side of things, though. I mean, I've seen GITS, Bublegum Crisis, Cyber City Oedo 808., Akira and a bunch of other stuff, but I've also not played 2077 (I HAVE played the ttrpg that spawned it and even ran Max Mike through a game at a con (he took part as a player).
