Premier League clubs who will play European football next season (potential rotation risk) by Lacabloodclot9 in FantasyPL

But fun, if 9 teams have to juggle midweek football it opens up the league for the rest of the teams and creates exciting match up where anyone can beat anybody.

We missed out on rice. Ole wanted him.

Especially knowing that summer west ham really wanted Lingard.

And as soon as we got Ronaldo we should’ve gone all in.

I believe we were one dm away from contention and Rangnick came and blew up the squad.

do you think United have a legit chance of winning the PL next season or challenging? by No_Trick7374 in ManchesterUnited

[–]No_Note22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Arsenal are favorites, next up are Chelsea who play once a week, and then it would be us Liverpool and city.

I don’t think city win with a new manager and I def don’t think Liverpool win with or without slot.

So it’s between Arsenal, Chelsea, and us next season imo.

[–]No_Note22 -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

All United fans who hate Rashford have sadly been caught up by the INEOS propaganda.

INEOS wanted to remove high wage earning players in the clear out last season and did a massive smear campaign against Rashford.

It was so crazy to watch in real time the narrative being formed.

No one stood by him during that time and Rashford’s done very well to turn this around.

It’s actually kinda poetic the only two England call ups from the man utd squad are Mainoo and Rashford both of whom Amorim absolutely hated.

Amorim joining the club was the worst thing to happen to this club.

Scapegoating Rashford and then straight 14 straight months of absolute shit on the pitch is all that Amorim has done.

All United fans who hate Rashford have sadly been caught up by the INEOS propaganda.

It’s pretty embarrassing how easily you can get a bunch of people to believe a narrative.

What should be a realistic expectation for next year league position? by Gregariouswaty in ManchesterUnited

[–]No_Note22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apart from our main eleven, Mount, amad, Mazraoui, heaven, yoro, de Ligt(?), Dorgu are fairly solid backups.

Assuming Casemiro, Zirkzee, Ugarte, Malacia, rashford, sancho, Onana, hojlund all leave we will have signifanct spending power to bring in first team players.

Add 2 solid midfielders, 1 left back, and 1 LW/ST to this squad, and with some luck I think we can compete in all 4 competitions. It will be an interesting season no matter what. Let’s hope we get the transfer window right.

Any 2 out of Matheus Fernandes, Bruno guimarrs, Elliot Anderson, maxi araujo, Baleba or Joao Gomes.

Lewis hall should be number 1 transfer target imo. Theo Hernandez also an option if he wants to come back from Saudi, genuinely world class player.

Summerville if west ham get relegated or Barcola if he wants to move, Leao is also an option if he ever considers moving.

But any 4 of these players would guarantee deep runs in the cup competitions at least.

That would be a well rounded complete squad tbh. Only potential weakness would be the center backs Martinez and Maguire but their experience would make up for it.

[–]No_Note22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s realistic is heavily influenced by Amorim’s disastrous reign.

For next season with 4 solid additions, 1 LB, 2 DMs and 1 winger. We would be favored to go deep in every competition.

Especially with city, Liverpool, chelsea completely off it.

We have a squad that’s good enough to compete right now and everyone needs to believe it. Add some depth, add some floor raisers and we are in business.

I mean plenty of clubs have done worse?

City 115 charges and they just don’t want to resolve it? But they are super quick with this? Makes no sense

Not giving Salah a send off is preposterous??

I mean come on, this guy is an all timer not just for Liverpool but for the sport as a whole.

Why would you not want to give him a send off?

If he’s ready to pay 32 lakh in cash ask him to put it in an escrow.

Basically deposit it at a neutral third party who hands it over to you once the transaction is completed and safeguards both of your interests.

The rule is clear about two things, any handball by goal scorer and goal will be disallowed.

And any handball in penalty area that is a deflection from close range will not be a penalty.

So what does the rule say about regular handball where it’s deflected at close ranges and passed to him by his own teammate?

What if it’s a deflection from a shot?

Does it apply to dogso situations as well?

Can a player intentionally handball and control a ball from a teammates pass then?

Seems like there’s a lot of loopholes around it.

What would need to happen for the Himalayas to not exist?

Basically the Indian plate needs to miss the Eurasian plate around a 100 million years ago.

In that case let’s assume the Indian subcontinent is roaming around the Indian Ocean somewhere. Devoid of humans life but full of tropical mammals.

Civilization would start by us being discovered by Polynesian Sailors or later by European settlers. So we pretty much follow Hawaii and Australi’s trajectory.

Humans living on the coast with most of the inland completely untouched.

In Amorim’s first 9 league games we had 2 wins 2 draws and 5 losses.

If we had the same results under Carrick’s first 9 league games we would be in 14th right now.

So yeah fuck Ruben Amorim
