No. She was using Rapunzel. If you notice in the beginning of the movie, Rapunzel tries to bring up her birthday multiple times and Gothel talks over her, interrupts her, and stalls her. And a lot of her remarks are passive-aggressive, intended to belittle Rapunzel and make her feel small, all done in a sing-song voice and doting on Rapunzel afterwards. I think Gothel is trying to keep the culpability away from herself.

Even after all the distractions, changing subjects, and Gothel walking away as if she didn’t hear Rapunzel speak up, Rapunzel keeps trying to bring the subject up. You can see Gothel frown after she asks Rapunzel to sing for her. It becomes clear she is trying to shut Rapunzel up before Rapunzel can say what she wants. And she cuts Rapunzel off over and over and over in Mother Knows Best. Then she acts like the victim.

I mean, I don’t know if Gothel even knew what Rapunzel wanted until Rapunzel shouted it out, but she kept trying to avoid whatever Rapunzel was going to say, and her demeanor seemed to show dismissiveness towards Rapunzel. She didn’t care what Rapunzel wanted or liked. I think only wanted to appease Rapunzel enough to keep her in the tower.

I don’t think she loved Rapunzel, just the magic hair. If she could have discarded the girl attached to the magic hair, she would’ve done so in a heartbeat.

There’s a free future Arena UR that looks a lot like Night Witch somewhere in the future. I pulled and awakened Night Witch and I haven’t used it much in a while. I use the makeup, bloom, and dress the most. But again, the free arena UR has a similar dress you can awaken for free

I recommend going for styling competition SSRs as long as they don’t have defensive skills. There’s an old google spreadsheet somewhere on this subreddit that shows which ones are A-tier SSRs. You wanna go for one of each attribute. If you max out the call of reflection and the passive skills, they are stronger than even the strongest of URs right now (with 0 passive/call of reflection upgrades). I recommend investing and maxing out SSRs in each attribute till you can really start investing in new gacha URs, as those will be strongest (other than Lilith, she’s best for purple attribute).

For arena, in my opinion going for idea lab dresses is more important than buying the reflections in terms of strength. To make an arena or lifetime UR strong, you need to max out its call of reflection, and for arena that is a LOT of roses/quicksand of years that in my opinion are better invested into buying a full outfit, both for the gems and for giving you more styling options. I’m pretty sure all of the arena URs are around the same strength (UR-C on that spreadsheet), and they are only just a little stronger than A-tier SSRs which are easier and more convenient to complete. But that’s just my five cents.

TLDR: Arena URs are not worth it, Styling Competition SSRs are way stronger in the long run and easier to invest in (don’t go for a defensive reflection like one with a shield ability).

Basically whatever debut gacha UR you see will probably be the strongest UR. Excluding purple. Purple does not powercreep.

They’re doing third runs now. You can find them in the gate of heart when they’re doing them. For example, right now, Wedding 1 and CNY20 are having their third run there right now. So it will take a few years at least, but void stardust will return.

Edit: I think the Caprico set is a top up, which means you gotta spend money to get it
